ORDINANCE OF THE GIBSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
VACATING A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD 425 SOUTH
WHEREAS, there was filed with the Gibson County
Commissioners, Gibson County, Indiana a Petition pursuant to
Indiana Code 36-7-3-12 by the Petitioner Toyota Motor
Manufacturing Indiana, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, statutory notice was given by publication in the
Princeton Daily Clarion, both publications being more than 10
days prior to the date for hearing for consideration of the
vacating of said road; and.
WHEREAS, there have been no objections or remonstrances
filed to said Petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Gibson County, •Zndiana that County Road 425
South from U. S. Highway 41 to County Road 100 East, the same
beinq a part of the East one-half of Section 31 and the West one-
half of Section 32, Township 2 South, Range 10 west, Gibson
County, Indiana, be and the same is hereby vacated.

PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD 425 SOUTH
Comes now the Petitioner, Toyota Motor }lanufacturing, Indiana,
Inc., a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the
State of Indiana and respectfully petitions the Board of County
Commissioners of Gibson County, Indiana as follows:
1. This Petition is £iled pursuant to and in accordance with
the terms of Indiana Code 36-7-3-12.
2. The Petitioner is the owner in fee simple of the follotiing
described real estate situate in Gibson County, Indiana, to-wit: The
east one-half of Section 31 and the west one-half of Section 32, both
in township (2) south, range (10) west Gibson County, Indiana.
3. That a certain county road known as County Road 425 South
runs from U.S. Highway 41 to County Road 100 East. That all of said
County Road 425 South lies outside the corporate boundaries of any
municipality.
4. That the only owner of real estate which abuts seid County
Road 425 South from U.S. Highway 41 to County Road 100 East is the
Petitioner herein.
5. That your Petitioner requests the Board of Commissioners of
Gibson County, Indiana vacate said County Road 425 South for the
reason that ail of the real estate tihich comprises the easement erea
£or said County Road 425 South is needed for industrial development in
an area known as the Patoka-Union ToWnships Economic Development
Area.
6. The vacating of County Road 425 South will not hinder the
growth of orderly development of the area in which it is located.

7. The vacating of County Road 425 South Nill not make access
to the lands of any persons by means of public way inaccessible.
8. The vacation of County Road 425 South will not hinder the
public's access to any public building or place.
WHEREFORE, the Petitioner respectfully requests that County Road
425 South from U.S. HighWay 41 to County Road 100 East be vacated;
that said matter be assigned for public hearing following notices
provided by statute; and for all other just and proper relief in the
premises.
I affirm, under the penalties for perjury that the foregoing
representations are true.
