WHEREAS, I.C. 11-12-6-6 provides that a county
legislative body may annually adop� an ordinance to elect �o
receive deposi�s from �he Sta�e Departmenc o° Corrzc��on a�d
to establish a county correcciors =und; anc
WHEREAS, the councy correct_o;?s fund may be used o.^.ly
for funding the operation of tr2 county jail, jail proc-ams,
or other local correctional facili�ies; a�d
WHEREAS, the county legislaczve body may elec� co
receive deoosi�s at eitner Level i, Level 2, or Level 3
funding; and
WHEREAS, Level 3 is the mos� aopropriate level o`
parcicipatior for Gibsor. Courcy, �herefore:
