�?� ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEES FOR COPIES
OF PUBLIC RECO?2DS IN GIBSO^I COUtdTY, INDIANe:
W}iERELS, I.C. 5-14-3-8 provides the Coun�y r^iscal Body
shall establi�n a uniform fee schedule for County offices,
departments and agencies �or the certification, copying or
facsimile transmission of documents: and
WHERE�S, �he Gibso^ County Council as �iscal body �or
Gibson County, Indiana has determined it is in �he best in�erests
o� �he citizens of the County that aa appropria�e Ordinance be
enacted establishing said �ees;
NONI, THEREFORE, BE �T ORD?�ZNED by the Gibson County Council
as �ollows:
Section 1. Pursuant �o the provisions of I.C. 5-14-3-8, the
followiag fee schedule is hereby established for copies of
puplic records made by the Coun�y and its o=fices,
deparcments, and agercies:
P.. For s�andard-sized photocopies, �he �ee shall be
Twenty-five Cents ($0.25) ior each page copied. For
thirty-six inch (36") copies or prints two (2) feet or
less the fee shall be One Dollar ($1.00) for each
black and white print and Two Dollars ($2.00) for each
color print. For thirty-six inch (36") copies two (2)
feet by four (4) feet the fee shall be 'Itvo Dollars
($2.00) for each black and white print and Four
Dollars ($6.00) for each color print.
B. For cooies produced in any format other than s�andard-
sized photocopies the fee snall be eaual to the direct
cos� of supplying the information in that form, or the
standard cost for selling the same iniormation to the
public in the form of a publication if the County, or
ics offices, departments or agencies, have published
che _niorma�ion and made ��e publica�ion available �or
sale.
C. For �he certification of documents or the facsimile
transmission of documents, the fee shall be �tventy-
five Cents ($0.25) per page for all facsimile
transmissions not requiring long-distance telephone
use, and Fif�y Cents ($0.50) per page for all
facsimile transmissions requiring long-distance
telephone use.

D. For scandard �" X 6" pnocograph reprints, the fee
shall be Fi=;y Ceats ($0 SO) each, or if more, the
direc� cosc o� supplying che information in that form.
For color copies of photographs, the fee shall be One
Dollar ($1.00) for each photograph.
E. For video tape recordings of evidence, the fee snall
be Two Dollars ($2.00) each, or if more, che direct
cosc o� supplying �he information in that form.
F. For audio tapes or CD recordings of evidence, the fee
snall be One Dollar ($1.00) eacn, or if more, the
direct cost of supplying the information in that form.
G. For photo CDs the fee shall be One Dollar ($1.00)
each, or if more, the direct cost of supplying the
information in that form.
H. For DVD recorcing of evidence, the fee shall be One
Dollar ($1.00) each, or ii more, che direct cost of
supplying tne information in that form.
I. For duplicating a compucer tape, a computer disk, an
op�ical disk, microfilm or similar media the sum of
One Dollar ($1.00) per page.
J. For a property card from the office of the County
Assessor, the fee shall be 'hventy-five Cents ($0.25)
for each property card.
K. For all Sheriff case reports, witness statements,
dispatch records and other lists or records requested
the fee shall be Rtventy-five Cents ($0.25) for each
page.
L. For accident reports the fee shall be Five Dollars
($5.00) each.
ai. For local criminal history reports the fee shall be
Seven Dollars ($7.00) each.
N. For a precinct map from the office of the County
Surveyor the fee shall be Three Dollars ($3.00).
O. For q uadrangle topographic maps from the office of the
County Surveyor the fee shall be Six Dollars ($6.00)
each.
This �ee scnedule shall no� apply in instances where a
different fee is spzci�ied by scatute or ordered by a
Court. F11 fees speci�ied by a State statute or la:�r shall
supersede �ne fee schedule in this ordinance.

Seccion 2. Should any provision (section, paragraph,
sencence, clause or any other pertion) o` this ordinance by
declared by a court o� competenc jurisdic�ion to be invalid
for any reason, tne remaining provision or orovisions, be
given the effect intended by che Councy Council in adopting
this ordinance. To this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are severable.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
e�fect from and after its passage by the County Council and
publication as by sta�ute proviced.
