Resolutions_1995-i995- wiiEREAS, Gibson County, Indiana presently does not have any local option income tax; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Gibson County Council that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Gibson County for economic development purposesthat the Gibson County Council enact a County Economic Development •Zncome Tax (EDIT); that: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Gibson County CounCil 1. The Gibson County Council hereby goes on record that it . � will enact an Ordinance in January 1996 for implementation of a County Economic Development Income Tax to take effect July 1, 1996 at a rate of not less than one-tenth percent (0.1�). 2.
