BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GIBSON
COUNTY, STATE OF INDIANA, THAT:
Pursuant to Indiana Code 36-2-3.5-4(2) the Gibson County Commissioners
recommend to the Gibson County Council that Gibson County establish an enhanced
emergency telephone system using the three digit number 9-1-1 and establish an
emergency telephone system fee to provide for funding of the system as provided in
Indiana Code 36-8-16-5 and 36-8-16-6.
The establishment of the 9-1-1 system will be an improvement by the County
and necessary for the welfare of the residents of Gibson County, Indiana.
This resolution shall be delivered by the County Auditor, as Clerk of the County
Council, for the Gibson County Council's consideration.
