Resolutions_1999-7� :.- RESOLUTION NO. 1999-'J RESOLUTION ESTABLISHZNG COPY FEES FOR AGENCIES OF GIBSON COUNTY, INDIANA WHEREAS Indiana Code 5-14-3-8 provides that the fiscal body shall establish a fee schedule for certification, copying or facsimile machine transmission of documents; and WHEREAS Indiana Code 5-19-3-8 provides the fee may not exceed the actual costs of certifying, copying or facsimile transmission of the document by the agency and that the fee must be uniform throughout the public agency and uniform to all purchasers; and WHEREAS "actual cost" is defined as the cost of paper and the per-page cost for use of copying or facsimile equipment and does not include labor costs or overhead costs; and WHEREAS the County Council of Gibson County, Indiana has considered information provided by county office holders regarding the "actual cost" of certifying, copying or facsimile machine transmission of documents. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the County Council of Gibson County, Indiana as *ollows: l. The County Council of Gibson County, Zndiana does establish fees as required by Indiana Code 5-19-3-8 for a11 public agencies of Gibson County, Indiana as follows: A. Ten Cents ($.10) per page for all copies. B. Ten Cents (5.10) per page for all facsimile transmissions not requiring long-dis�ance telephone use. C. Fifcy Cents ($.50) per page ror all �acsimile transmissions requiring long-dis�ance �elephone use. 2. Notwithstanding this Resolution, all public agencies of Gibson County, Indiana shall collect any certification, copying, facsimile machine transmission or search fees that are specified by statute or as might be ordered by any Court.
