WHEREAS, Indiana Code 11-12-5-5 provides that a person confined in a
County )ail may be required to make a copayment in an amount of not more
than $15.00 for each provision of certain medical services; and
WHEREAS, said statute provides that rules for implementation of said

WHEREAS, the Sheriff of Gibson County, Indiana, has recommended
implementation of said statute for persons confined at the Gibson County Jail;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Gibson County, Indiana, as follows:
1. The provisions of Indiana Code 11-12-5-5 are adopted for
application to all persons confined in the Gibson County Jail.
2. The Sheriff of Gibson Counry, Indiana shall require a copayment in
an amount of not more than $15.00 for medical care, dental care,
eye care, and any other health care related service for persons
confined at Gibson County Jail subject to the provisions of Indiana
Code 11-12-5-5.
3. All money collected by the Sheriff of Gibson County, Indiana shall
be deposited into the Gibson County Medical Care for Inmates Fund
from said person's commissary account or trust account if said
funds are available at the time of the medical service or within sixty
(60) days after the services provided.
THIS RESOLUTION APPROVED and ADOPTED by the Board of County
