A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZZNG THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN
REAL ESTATE OWNED BY GZBSON COUNTY, ZNDIANA TO
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF GZBSON COUNTY, ZNC.
WHEREAS, Gibson County, Indiana is the owner of certain surplus
real estate as more fu11y described on Exhibit A attached hereto and
made a part hereo�; and
WHEREAS, sa:d real estaCe is surplus real estate no longer
rea_uired for use by Gibson County, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Indiana Code 36-1-11-1 et seq are not
reauired to be followed when surplus real estate is being cransferred
ro an Indiana non-profit domestic corporation; and
wHEREAS, Habitat for Humanity of Gibson County, Znc. is an Indiana
non-profit corporation which desires ownership of said real estate; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Gibson County,
Indiana are desirous of transferring said real estate to said non-
profic corporaticn;
NOW, THEREcORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioner of
Gibson County, Indiana as follows:
1. The real estate as described hereto on Exhibit A shall be
transferred by the Board of Commissioners of Gibson County,
Indiana to Habitat for Humanity of Gibson County, Inc.
2. Said �ransfer shall be made without any payment of any
consideration.
