Candis Annis, being first duly sworn, upon her oath says that
she is the surviving widow of Norman Annis, deceased, that said decedent
departed this life on the 7th day of May, 1966, a resident of Gibson County,
State of Indiana, and was the owner with affiant as tenants by the entirety
of certain real estate situate in Gibson County, State of Indiana, which is
listed upon the transfer records of Barton. Township, Gibson County,
State of Lndiana, and described as follows:
The Southeast quarter ofthe Southeast quarter. •
of Section 8, Township 3 south, Range 9 west,
containing 40 acres, more or less; the South�vest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 9,
Township 3 south, Range 9 west, containing 40
acres, more or less; the Northeast quarter of
the Northeast quarter of Section 17, Township
3 south, Range 9 west, containing 40 acres,
more or less, together with ail improvements
thereon, all rights, rents, profits, royalties,
easements, and appurtenances thereunto belonging
together with all water rights and water stock
appertaining thereto.
Also, part of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter and part ofthe Southeast quarter ofthe
Northwest quarter of Section 17, Township 3 south,
Range 9 west, bounded as follows: Beginning at
the Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of
the Northeast quarter ofthe above described
section and running west forty-one (41) chains
and twenty (20) links; thence north twenty-seven
(27) chains and thirty-one (31-) links; thence east
forty-one (41) chains and twenty-seven (27) links;
thence south twenty-seven (27) chains and thir.ty-

seven (37) links to the piace of beginning, Except
one-haif acre in the northwest corner thereof
described as follows: A part of the north half of
Section 17, Township 3 south, Range 9 west, bounded
as follows: Commencing at a point in said Section
27 chains and 31 links north from the half section
line, running east and �vest through the center of
said section, 1 1/ 2 chains west of the quarter
section line, running nortli and south between the .
northeast quarter and the southeast quarter of said
section, and from said point running south 4 rods;
thence east 20 rods; thence north 4 rods; thence
west 20 rods to the place of beginning, containing
1/ 2 acre; and contauung, less said exception 28. 16
acres, more or less (the measurements given in the
foregoing description being two-pole chains). The
above described land is subject to the rights of the
State Highway Department of the State of Indiana, for
right-of-way purposes, as shown by Instrument #3128
recorded in Deed Record #149 page 29, Office of the
Recorder of Gibson County, Indiana, andfurther subject
to an additional grant in favor of said State Highway
Department of the State of Indiana. Deed Record No. 150,
page 375, Office of Recorder aforesaid.
That title to said real estate passed to this affiant as the surviving
tenant by the entirety, and the Auditor is hereby requested to transfer said
real estate to this affiant's name for tax purposes.
