Virgil R. Emerson, being first dol�sworn, upon his oath,
deposes and says:

That he is more than fif ty (SO) years of age, a resident of

R.R. #1, Cynthiana, Gibson County, State of Indiana, and his occupation

That he is familiar with the following described real estate
located in Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
Part of the Northwest-quarter of the Northwest quarter of section 12,
Township 3 South, Range 12 west and described as follows; Begin at a
point in the west line of said quarter, quarter section 81.7 feet south
of the northwest corner thereof, and run thence south 276.8 feet to the
center of the Owensville and Warehouse Road; thence south 89 degrees
12 minutes east along said road 382.5 feet; thence north 6 degrees
west 281 feet to an iron; thence west 357 feet to the place of beginning
and containing two'and thirty-five hundredths (2.35) acres, more or less.
Also, part of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section
11, township 3 south, range 12 west and descrihed as follows; Begin at
a point in the east line of said quarter, quarter, section, 81.7 feet
south of the northeast cortier thereof, and run thence south 276.8 feet
to the center of the Owensville and Warehouse Road; thence north 89
degrees 12 minutes west along said road 373.5 feet; thence north 271.6
feet to an iron; thence west 373.5 feet to the place of beginning, and
containing two and thirty-five hundredths (2.35) acres, more or less.
Being the same real estate described in Deed Record No. 129 page 375,
Office of the Recorder of Gibson County, Indiana;
and that he knows of his own knowledge that said above descrihed real
property was formerly owned by Carlos E. Alcorn and Lois Alcorn, husband
and wife, as tenants by the entirety.
Affiant further states that he knows of his own knowledge that
said Carlos E. Alcorn died intestate, on or about the ��� day of
r�,c,,�,y�s,/ , 19 SU , and that said Carlos E. Alcorn and
Lois ALcorn, were husband and wife at the time of the death of the said
Carlos E. Alcorn.
Affiant further states that he knows of his own knowledge that
the value of the estate of said Carlos E. Alcorn at the time of his
death, within the meaning of the Federal Estate Taac Laws, was less
than Sixty Thousand ($60,000.00) Dollars, and that the estate of said
decedent was not subject to any Federal Estate Tax.
