AFFIDAVIT TO HOLD HARi�7LESS
Bernard A. Boehmer and Janet K. Boehmer, first being duly sworn upon their oath, says:
1. Mary K. Abbo[t, Gran[or in a certain warranty deed dated October 25, 1988, recorded
October 26, 1988 in Deed Drawer 6, Card 2457, Office of the Recorder of Gibson County,
Indiana, has not occupied the subject properry as a home and place of actual residence for a period
exceeding one year, for reasons of health.
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8, Township 2
South, Range 10 West, and eventually called Lot No. 6 of ihe Dike Enlazgement as
recorded August 5, 1958, and further described as follows: Begin at a 1-i/2 inch pipe
in the north line of Taylor Avenue; a 40-foot wide street, as recorded in Dike
Enlargement and which pipe may be found as follows: From the southwest comer of
the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8, To�vnship 2 South,
Range ] 0 West, measure north along the west line of said quarter quarter section 370
feet; thence bear east pazallel to the south line of said quarter quarter section a
distance of 830 feet; and from said beginning, which pipe is the southwest corner of
the tract being described, bear north 150 feet to a 1-1/2 inch pipe; thence beaz east 90
feet to a 1-1/2 inch pipe in the west line of Hazding Avenue, a 40-foot wide street in
said Enlargement; thence bear south along the west line of said avenue a distance of
I30 feet to an iron; thence bear south-westerly along ihe azc of a circle whose radius
is 20 feet a distance of 31.42 feet to an iron in the north line of said Taylor Avenue;
thence bear west along said north line a distance of 70 feet to the place of beginning
and containing .303 acre, being the same real estate intended to be described in a
Warranty Deed executed July 18, 1958 by Charles E. Dike, Sr., a widower, and
recorded in Deed Record 150, page 338; also a Warranty Deed dated August 21,
1958, executed by Charles E. Dike, Jr. and Juanita Dike, husband and wife, recorded
in Deed Record 150, page 475, also a Warranty Deed dated September 11, 1963,
executed by Charles �Villiam Taylor and Norma Jean Taylor, husband and �vife,
recorded in Deed Record No. 162, page 407, all records in the office of the Recorder
of Gibson County, Indiana, and being the same real estate described in Deed Record
17�, page ]O1, office aforesaid.

2. That in order to induce Civitas Insurance to issue a Commitment for Title Insurance ,
Affiants agree to hold said Civitas Insurance harmless from any loss due to Mary K. Abbott
claiming a life estate interest in the real estate.
