AFFIDAVIT OF DEATH AND HEIRSHIP TO
The undersigned being duly sworn on oath deposes and says:
That A1ice Brenton, the wife of Ott L. Brenton, so:netimes
designated as O.L. Brenton, died intestate, a resident of Gibson
County, State of Indiana, on January 28, 1954, and left as her
sole and only heirs-at-Law her husband, the aforesaid Ott L.
Brenton, and her adult-son Roy A. Brenton, the affiant herein.
That Ott L. Brenton, sometimes designated as O.L. Brenton,
died a widower and intestate, a resident of Gibson County, Indiana,
on October 18th, 1961;: that decedent's estate is in the process of
administration under Estate Dkt. No. P.R. 61 - 129, Office of the
Clerk of the Gibson Circuit Court; that said decedent at the date of
his demise owned the following described real estate situate in
Union Township, Gibson County, State of Zndiana, to-wit:
A part of Lot No. 40 in the Original Plan of the
Town of Fort Branch, Gibson County, State of
Indiana, described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of-said Lot number
forty (40) and running thence north twenty (20) feet;
thence east eighty-five <85) feet and nine C9) inches;
thence south twenty (20) feet to Locust Street; thence
west on Locust Street eighty five (85) feet and nine
(9) inches to the olace of beginning - ALSO - A part
of Lot Number 40, in the Or.iginal Plan of the Town of
Fort Branch, Gibson County, Indiana, described as
follows: Beginning at a point 19 feet West of the
Southeast corner of said Lot; thence North 20 feet;
thence West 30 feet; thence South 20 feet; thence
East 30 feet to the place of beginning. A right-
of-way 10 feet wide off the entire east end thereof
is reserved for passage way from Locust Street.
Being the same re al estate described in Deed Record
No. 100, page 180, and Deed Record No. 158, page '
, Office of the Recorder of Gibson
County, n iana.
That said decedent left as his sole and only heir-at-law his
adult son namely, Roy A. Brenton; that this affidavit is made and
executed for the sole purpose of obtaining a transfer of said real
estate to the heir of said decedent on the transfer records of
Union Township as kept and maintained in the Auditor's Office of
Gibson County, Indiana; and, for no other purpose.
Further this affiant sayeth not.
