AFFIDAVIT AS TO REAL ESTATE OWNED AS
TENANTS BY THE ENTIRETY
The undersigned, Sohn w. Ballard, being first duly sworn
on oath says:
1. That he is now and has been for a period of more
than twenty (20) years last past a practicing Attorney of the
Gibson County Bar of Princeton, Indiana.
2. That he knows of his own knowledge that one John
Bayer died testate, a resident of Gibson County, Zndiana, on
or about August 24, 1957.
3. That said decedent died testate and his last will and
testament was duly amitted to probate in the Gibson Circuit Court
on or about September 13, 1957 - Estate Dkt, No. 2310; that
the Inheritance Tax due on decedent's estate was determined by �
this court and decedent's estate found liable for an Indiana
Inheritance Tax in the net of Thirty Four pollars and Sixty
Two Cents ($34.62), which was paid to the Office of the Treasurer
of Gibson County, Indiana, on December 11, 1957 under Voucher
No. A126714.
4. That this affiant knows of his own knowledge that
under the terms and provisions of a certain Warranty Deed dated
May 19. 1955, and now of record in Deed Record No. 142 page 391;
the said John H. Bayer, as husband, and Anna F3irsch Bayer, his
�.��- wife, owned as tenants by the entirety the following described
real estate situate in the Town of Haubstadt, Gibson County,
Indiana, towit:
Lots Number seventy nine (79), eighty (80) and ninety six (96)
in the Original Plan of the Town of Haubstad, Indiana;
ALSO, part of Lot Number ninety five (95) in the Original Plan of the
Town of Haubstadt, Incliana, descriiied as follows: Begin at the south-
east corner of said lot and run thence north 5'� degrees west 13 feet
and 4 inches; thence south 84'� degrees west parallel to the north
line of said lot 110 feet to the west line thereof; thence south
5'��degrees east to the southwest-corner oS said lot; thence north
84'� degrees east'110 feet along the�south line thereof, to the place
of beginning; Being the same real estate described in Deed Record
No. 142 page 391,•Office of the Recorder of,Gibson County, Indiana.

That this affidavit,is made for the purpose of establishing
the date of death of the said John Bayer, and the further fact
that he left his wife, the said Anna Hirsch Bayer, as his surviving
widow; and, that as of the date of the death of the said John Bayer
on August 24, 1957, title to said above described real estate
vested solely and entirely in the said Anna Hirsch Bayer, as the
surviving widow and surviving tenant by the entirety.
This affiant knows of his own knowledge that the estate
of the said John Bayer was less than Sixty Thousand Dollars
($60,000.00), as of the date of his demise and was not subject to
a Federal Estate Tax.
That this affidavit is made for the purpose of obtaining
a transfer in the Office of the Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana,
of the real estate hereinabove described to the individual name
of Anna Iiirsch Bayer.
Further this affiant sayeth not. �
