AFFIDAVIT AS TO OWNERSHIP � �
OF REAL ESTATE
a
The undersigned, John W. Ballard, Attorney at Law,
Princeton, Indiana, being first duly sworn on oath says:
1. That he has this day, based on information
set forth in a certain`abstract of title now in the possession
of Horace H. Wiley and Jane Wiley, husband and wife, determined
from a statement of taxes and assessments of real estace situate
in Patoka Township, Gibson County, indiana, carried in the name
of "Zsabel Blair, etal", and designated as follows, towit:

Pt. W'� SE'� 8-2-11, 66, 35 a. "
From said abstract, an entry consisting of two (2) pages and
designated as No. 77 and 78 over the signature of Alonzo E.
Morrison, the following:
"RE HEIRSHIP OF GRACE G. STORMONT,
MARGARET J. GIIMORE AND WZLLIAM
STEELE GILMORE
William W. Blair, Widower to Zsabel Blair, Marie B. Blair,
Archibald W. Blair and William Blair, Filed for record January 17,
1888 in Deed Record 32 at Page 167, in the Records of the Recorder's
Office, Gibson County, Indiana, the following described Real Estate,
towit:
The west half of the southeast quarter of Section
8, Township 2 South, Range 11 West, containing 80
acres, more or less. The East half of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 8, Township 2 South, Range 11
West, containing 80 acres, more or less. The South-
west Quarter of the Northwest puarter of Section 8,
Township 2 South, Range 11 West, containing 40 acres,
more or less. And containing in a11200 acres, more or
less.
Said heirship descended to the following named persons, Grace G.
Stormont, Ne11ie.B. Gilmore, Margaret J. Gilmore and William
Steele Gilmore.
(First) the said,Archibald W. Blair died, unmarried,
intestate without issue, solvent seized by one-fourth undivided interest
in and to the foregoing described Real Estate, leaving surviving him
as his heirs and only heirs at law the foregoing mentioned grantor
his father, and the foregoing grantees brother and sisters and also
his sister, Nettie B. Gilmore. , ��

(Second) William W. Blair the father of all the foregoing
named persons, died unmarried, intestate, solvent seized by one-half
of the one-fourth interest of the said Archibald W. Blair, deceased,
leaving surviving him as his heirs and only heirs at law his four
surviving children hereinabove mentioned,
(Third) Isabel Blair died, unmarried, intestate, solvent
seized by thirty-ninety-sixths undivided interest in and to the
Real Estate herein above described.
(FOUrth) Marie B. Blair died unmarried, intestate, solvent
seized by fourty-ninety-sixths undivided interest inand to the real ;1
estate hereinabove described. �
(Fifth) Hettie B, Gilmore died, intestate, solvent seized
by three-eighths undivided interest in and to the foregoing described
real estate and other estate inherited froin her father, william W.
Blair, deceased, leaving surviving her as her heirs and only heirs
at law, Steele Gilmore, her husband,..Nellie B. Gilmore, Grace G.
Gilmore, Margaret J. Gilmore and William Steele Gilmore.
(Sixth) Nellie B. Gilmore, died, unmarried, intestate,
solvent seized by an undivided interest in and to the foregoing
described real estate. �
(Seventh) Steele F. Gilmore, unmarried, died, intestate,
solvent seized by an undivided interest in and to the foregoing
described real estate.
At the death of Nellie B. Gilmore there remained surviving
the following named children, Grace G. Stormont, Margaret J. Gilmore
and William Steele Gilmore who became the owners of the three-eighths
"undivided interest in and to the foregoing described Real Estate.
At which time thesaid William Blair, the son of william E.
Blair, deceased, was the owner by warranty deed and inheritance from
his said father and said sisters and brother in and to an undivided
five-eighths interest to the foregoing described real estate and other land.
Afterwards the said wiltiam Blair unmarried, died intestate,
solvent, leaving surviving him as his heirs and only heirs at law his
said nieces, Grace G. Stormont, Margaret J. Gilmore and his nephew
William Steele Gilmore and no others.
Whereby the said nieces and nephew became the owners in.fee simple
of the whole of the foregoing described Real Estate and other �ds
steming from the estate of the said William W. Blair, deceased.

2. He further finds from said abstract, Entries 98, 99 and
100 that Grace G. Stormont died a resident of Kansas City, Missouri;
on the 19th day of June, A.D. 1968 and at the time of her death
was domiciled at 4394 Kelnepa Drive, Jacksonville, Florida; and he
further finds from said abstract, Entry 124 thereof that Nancy Stormont
Powell joined by her husband, Thomas C. Powell, as the sole beneficiary

under the last will and testament of Grace G. Stormont, deceased,
conveyed to Margaret Jean Gilmore, Deed Drawer #1, Card #1070, Office
of the Recorder of Gibson County, Indiana, all of the interest of
the said Nancy Stormont Powell, being one and the same persons
sometimes designated as Margaret J. Gilmore.
That this affidavit is being made for the sole purpose
of having the real estate above described transferred on .
the tax duplicate, Office of the Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana,
to the name of William Steele Gilmore and Margaret J. Gilmore.
Further this affiant sayeth not.
