COUNTY (GRANTEE) of Gibson County, in the State of Zndiana, for the
sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration, the
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the
following described real estate in Gibson County, State of Zndiana:
Centerline description of a 60' wide portion of'Dogwood Drive, a
drive within Hopkins Lakewood Hills Subdivision, a recorded
subdivision recorded on July 15, 1977 and found in Plat Book 2,
page 123 (Plat Cabinet A-128) of the Gibson County Recorder's
office. This road is located in the southeast quarter of the
northeast quarter of Section 20, Township 2 South, Range 9 i9est in
Center 'Pownship, Gibson County, Zndiana and the centerline
description for that portion of Dogwood Drive to be dedicated to
the public is as follows: Beginning at a point in the east line of
t}ie southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of said Section,
four-hundred ninety-five and zero hundredths (495.00) feet north of
ttie southeast corner of said quarter, quarter section and from said
place oL beginning, run thence west along the centerline of Dogwood
Drive, one-hundred sixty-five and zero hundredths (165.00) feet;
thence north along the centerline description of Dogwood Drive,
six-hundred seventy five and thirteen hundredths (675.13) feet;
thence west along the centerline description,of. Dogwood Drive,
three-hundred fifty and eighty-two hundredths (350.82) feet; thence
south along the. centerline description of Dogwood Drive, four-
hundred sixty-five and zero hundredths (465.00) feet; thence east
along the centerline description of Dogwood Drive; three-hundred
twenty-one and sixty-eight hundredths (321.68) feet to a point
thirty (30) feet west of the centerline of the north-south portion
of Dogwood Drive and being a total length of 0.3746 mile
(1,977.63'). NOTE: The portion of Dogwood Drive having a
length of four-hundred sixty-five and zero hundredths (465.00) feet
from the north right-of-way of State Highway #64 is already a
Gibson County road and has been since 1888.
The above description was prepared by Harry G. Morrison, Registered
Land Surveyor #7961.
Said real estate herein is conveyed to The Board of County
Commissioners of Gibson County, Indiana for such public use and
purposes as might be determined by said Board, but expressly for
dedication as a public road.
