Ballard, being first duLy aworn on: oath deposes. and says: • " <. - . That he is t3�e attorney of record for Stella Kirksey, adult daughter of Esaie Coleaan (sometimes deaignated as Essie Richards Coleman) reaiding at Lakeview, Box 44, State of Arkansas. That as reflected by Ghe record that has been established to him it appears that the above designated decedent died a widow and left as her sole and only heir at law her adult daughter, Stella Kirksey. That the above designated Essie Coleman (sometimes des- ignated as Essie Richards Coleman) was the surviving sister of Harvey Richards, deceased, and that the said Essie Coleman (some- times deaignated as Esaie Richards Coleman) died intestate a 1ega1 resident of the City of Jonesboro in the State of Arkansas on December 16, 1973 at the age of eighty-one (81) yeara. That said decedent as of the date of her demise died the owner of a fractional interest in real estate, Located in Gibson Countq, Patoka Townehip, in the State of Indiana; and, which interest of the decedent is legally described as follows: "The undivided one-half (1/2) interest (bein the interest owned .� ESSIE COLEMAN in and to the following escri e tracts: Part of the Northeast quarter of Section 22, township 2 south, range 11 west, described as follows: Begin at•a point in the north line of said quarter aection 646.feet east of the north- weat corner thereof; run thence south 1906 feet to the center of a'public highway; thence east 463 feet; thence north 1120 feet to the center-of a ditch; thence in a northeasterly direc- tion up said stream 260 feet to the east Line of the west half of the southeast quarter of said section; thence continuing up said stream north 48 1/2 degrees east 1010 feet to the point of interaection of the center Line of said Section 15; thence west along the north line thereof, 1473 feet to the place of beginning, and containing 30.32 acres, more or less; ALSO, part of the Southeast quarter of Section 15, township 2 south, range 11 west, described as foLlowa: Begin at a point in the south line thereof 955 feet east of the southwest corner thereof; run thence north 551 feet; thence east 1362 feet; thence south 392 feet; thence south 48 1/2 degrees west 249 feet, to the south line thereof; thence west 1164 feet to the place of beginning, and containing 16.84 acres, more or less; � � � �. -.A . � . .. _ ' � - ' '�'.� I EXCEPTING from said tracts all of the coal and other substances necessary to be removed in mining and removing the coal, conveyed ' to.Princeton Mining Company by deed dated July 12, 1943,�recorded in Deed Rec. 117, page 480, Office of the Recorder of Gibson County, Indiana;" That as of the date of decedent's demise her entire interest in the above described real estate, descended in ita entirety to the aforesaid Stella Kirkaey as said decedent's adult daughter and aole heir at law. From the record available localLy, it appears that decedent's estate was not aubject to a Federal Estate Tax; that the Indiana Inheritance Tax on decedent's estate was determined by the office of the Administrator of the Indiana Inheritance Tax Division and found to be in a net of Ttaenty-eight Dollars and Forty- four Cents ($28.44), which said sum has been duly paid; and, on December.2, 1974 a proper record showing said payment was placed in the office of the Clerk of the Gibson Circuit Court at Princeton, Indiana. This affidavit is for the sole purpose of obtaining a transfer on the transfer books, office of the�Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana to the naae of Stella Kirkaey, adult daughter and sole heir at Law of Essie Coleman Csometimes designated as Easie Richards Coleman) now deceased, and for no other purpose. n Subacribed and sworn to before me this 16th day of December, 1974. � �,9.� ,�.�i � / 3 z_,,,,,.,. ��/ Do ores L.
