1. The above named affiant being first duly swofn.:on
oath deposes and says:
2. That she is appropimately forty eight (48) years of

age and now resides at No. 102 North First Street, Owensville,
Indiana; that she is the surviving widow of James O. Boren
deceased, who died intestate a resident of Gibson County,
Indiana, on or about August 14, 1968;
2rA.That as one of the sons and one of the heirs at law

of Rosa Evans Boren, deceased, the said James O. Boren, during
his lifetime inherited an undivided one-half (1/2) part in value
of the following described real estate situate in Johnson Township,
Gibson County, Indiana, towit:

A part of the northeast quarter of Section 9, in Township 4
South, Range 11 West, bounded as follows, towit: Beginning on
the north line of said section on the east bank of Jordan Creek
where the same crosses the Cynthiana and Haubstadt Road and from
thence east 24 rods; thence in a southwesterly direction following
the meanderings of the branch of said Jordan Creek to where it
empties into said Creek; thence up said Jordan Creek on the East
Bank thereof to the place of beginning, containing one (1) acre,
more or less.
F1LS0, all that part of the northwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 9, Township 4 south, Range 11 West, formerly
owned by Anna M. Trible and lying east of Jordan Creek and
estimated to contain one (1) acre, more or less.
ALSO, part of the northeast quarter of Section 9, Township 4
South, Range 11 West and described as follows: Begin at a point
in the north line of said section 3542.54 feet east of the northwest
corner of said section in the center of a concrete box culvert from
said beginning point, run thence along the center of said ditch witn
the meanders thereof, to its intersection with the old channel of
Jordan Creek; thence down Jordan Creek with the meanders thereof to a
point 990"feet south of the north line of said quarter section;
thence east 545 feet; thence north 994 feet to the north line of
said quarter section; thence west 6 feet to the place of beginning,
and containing 6.70 acres, more or less.
Being the same real estate described in Deed Record No. 171,
Page 466, Office of the Recorder of Gibson County, Indiana;
That the said James O. Boren died intestate on about the
date above set forth; that there was no formal administration
on the estate of said decedent; and no Inheritance Tax petition
filed and determined as to indiana Inheritance tax; that said

decedent's estate was in a gross of far less than Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($60;000,00) and was not subject to a Federal Estate Tax.
3. That the said James O. Boren left as his sole and only

heirs, (a) / Ruth D. Boren (widow) and this affiant; (b) Chester
Arthur Boren, now residing in the City of Evansville, Indiana,
and is now approximately thirty (30) years of age, together

with (c) James Ivan Boren, who resides in Owensville,
and is now past nineteen (19) years of age. '�

was in the amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00.);;that � �

under the laws of descent of the State of Indiana, a,o_�_ne��irdF
(1/3rd) part in value descendedTto this affiant and one-ttiird
(1/3rd) part in value to each of his above designated sons;
That this affiant's exemption as the surviving widow for
Indiana Inheritance Tax would be in the sum of Fifteen Thousand
Dollars ($15,000.00), the interest of Chester Arthur Boren would,
as of the date of his father's demise for Inheritance tax purposes
be subject to an exemption of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00);
and the interest of James Ivan Boren, who was approximately sixteen
(16) years of age at the date of his father's demise would be
entitled to � exemption of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for
Indiana Inheritance Tax purposes.
That this affidavit is made for the purpose of an attempt
to meet the requirements of Attorney W. Jack Schroeder set forth
in his title opinion on behalf of Union Federal Savings and Loan
' as dated December 22, 1971,
