Aff - Dixon, Anna_8/25/1966._ �=� � ` � STATE OF INDIANA COUNTY OF GIBSON, SS: AFFIDAVIT OF TRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE To: - Roy- E. Owens, Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana JAMES E. BEARD, being first duly sworn upon oath, deposes and says that he knows of his own knowledge that Anna Dixon wa� one of the daughters of George H. Collins who died intestate in the year 1920 and in whose name for taxation the following described real estate, situate in Gibson County, Indiana, now appears: An undivided one-fifth (1/5) part in value in and to: A part of Lot Number one (1) of the southeast fractional quarter (some- times called the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter) of Section 26, Township one north, Range ten west, bounded as follows: Beginning at the southeast coraer of said fractional southeast quarter at a stone, and running thence north along the section line 13 chains and 34 links; thence west 40 chains and 15 links to the west line of said Lot No. 1; thence south 9 chains and 12 links to a stone in the south line of said fractional southeast quarter; and thence south, 83 1/4 degrees esst, to the place of beginning, containing 11. 50 acres, more or less. (Two pole chains used in the foregoing description). Also, a part of Lot No. i of the southeast fractinnal quarter (sometimes called the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter) of Section 26, Town- ship 1 north, Range 10 west, bounded as follows: Beginning at a stone which stands in the east line of said fractional quarYer section 16 chains and 30 links south ofthe northeas± coraer thereof, and running thence south 12 chains and 23 links to the northeast corner of the tract hereinabove described (called Mary E. Collins' corner); thence west 40 chains and 15 links to the west line of said Lot No. 1; thence north along said line 12 chains and 23 links to a stone; thence east 40 chains and 15 links to the place of begin- ning, and containing 12. 50 acres, more or 1ess. Collins, deceased, an3 that the said Anna Dixon died a resident o� Gibson County, Indiana, in the year 1940, an3 left surviving her as her sole an3 ozly heirs-at-law Theodore O. Dixon and four (4) children: Lester O. Dixon, Albert R. Dixon, Thzodore O. Dixon, Jr., and Audrey M. Burch, and that her husband, Theodore O. Dixon, died in year 1950 and _ " :� r r._ � left surviving as his heirs-at-law the said Lester O. Dixon, Albert R. Dixon, Theodore O. Dixon, Jr. , an,3 Au�9r2y M. Burch. This Affiant further knows that Au�9rey M. Burch died intestate in the year 1954 and left surviving as her sole heirs-at-law her husband, James Burch and her daughter, Linda Lou Riley, and this Affiant acquired said interest by Warranty Deed dated July 28, 1966, from the said Lester O, Dixon, Albert R. Dixon, Theodore O. Dixon, Linda Lou Riley and James Burch and he makes tk�is Affidavit for the purpose of causing the auditor of Gibson County, Indiana, to transfer said undivided one-fifth (1/5) interzst on his official transfer records from the name of George H.
