AFFIDAVIT FOR TRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE UPON
THE TAX DUPLICATE
TO ROY E. OWENS,
Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana:
EMMA F. DOUGLAS, being duly sworn upon oath, says that
LL.OYD R. DOUGLAS departed this life, testate, a resident of Gibson County,
in the State of Indiana, on September 30th. , 1970; and that said decedent and
this affiant, as husband and wife, and as tenants by the entirety, were, as
of the date of death:the owners of the following described real estate, situate
in 114ontgomery To�vnship, Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
The central part of the southeast quarter of Section
7, Township 3 south, Range 11 west, bounded as follows:
Begin at a point 55 rods north oF the southeast corner of said
quarter section and runwest 160 rods, more or less, to the
half section line; thence run north 46. 86 rods to the John W.
Emerson land; thence east �160 rods, more or less, to the Sec-
tion line; and thence south to the place of beginning, and con-
taining 46. 86 acres, more or less.
Upon the death of the said LIAYD R. DOUG LAS title in and to
the above de"scribed real estate vested in this affiant as the surviving widow
of said decedent and this affidavit is submitted to induce the Auditor of Gibson
County, Indiana, to transfer ownership of said real estate upon the Transfer
Record of Montgomery Township to this affiant.
