T0: THE AUDITOR OF GIBSON COUNTY, STATE Or INDIANA
STELLA G. ELLIS, being first duly sworn upon her oath
deposes and says:
l. That she and her late.husband, Muril F. Ellis were
the owners as tenants by the entireties of the following described
real estate situate in Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
The west half of
17, Township 1 North,
more or less;
Lot Number 2 of Fractional Section
Range 10 west, containing 33.40 acres,
Also, a strip of land off the South end of Lot Number 1,
in Fractional Section 17, in Township 1 North, Range 10 West,
10 feet in width, beginning at the southwest corner and
running across the South end to the Southeast Corner of said
Lot 1, to be used as a private road, said strip also being
subject for use as a private road by the owner of the real
estate located immediately west and adjoining said tract.
Subject to a reservation of an undivided one-half (1/2)
interest in and to the oil, gas and other minerals lying in
and under the above described real estate for a term of
twenty-five (25) years from and a£ter the 27th day of August,
1956, by the grantors, Beatrice D. Green and her husband,
william L. Green.
ALSO, part of Militia Donation number thirty-three (33)
in township one (1) north, range ten (10) west, and described
as follows: Begin at a rock situated at the southeast corner
of Lot number one hundred thirty-nine (139) in the Eastern
Enlargement to the town of Hazleton, Indiana, and running
south eighty-three and one-half (83 1/2) degrees east six
hundred forty-six.and five tenths (646.5) feet; thence south
six and one-half (6 1/2) degrees west five hundred fifty-three
and eight hundredths (553.08) feet; thence north eighty-three
and one-half (83 1/2) degrees west six hundred forty-six and
five tenths (646.5) feet; thence north six and one-half (6 1/2)
degrees east five hundred fifty-three and eight hundredths
(553.08) feet to the place of beginning and containing eight
and twenty-seven hundredths (8.27) acres, more or less.
ALSO, part of Militia Donation number thirty-three (33)
in township one (1) north, range ten (10) west, and described
as follows: Begin at the northeast corner of lot number one
hundred thirty-one (131) in the Eastern Enlargement to the town
of Hazleton, Indiana, and run thence east two hundred fifty-one
(251) feet; thence south two hundred (200) feet; thence west
two hundred fifty-one (251) feet; thence north two hundred
(200) feet to the place of beginning and containing one (1) acre,
more or less.
The west half of lot number two (2), of fractional section
seventeen (17), township one (1) north, range number ten (10)
west, containing thirty-two and forty hundredths (32.40) acres,
more or less.

Also a strip of land off the south end of lot number one (1),
in fractional section nunber seventeen (17), in township one
(1) north, range ten (10) caest ten (10) feet in width, beginning
at the south-west corner and running across the south end to the
south-east corner of said lot one (1), to be used as a private
road, said strip also being subject for use as a private road by
the owner of the real estate located immediately west and
adjoining said tract.
The west half of the west half of the southwest fractional
quarter section 16, township 1 north, range 10 west, containing
33.40 acres.
A part of Militia Donation No. 33, lying South
of and adjacent to the Eastern Enlargement of the Town
of Hazleton, and bounded as follows, to-wit: Begin at the
Southeast corner of Lot 139 in said Eastern Enlargement,
and running thence North 84 1/4 degrees West, along the
Southern line of said Enlargement 10.25 chains to the
West line of said Militia Donation, thence South 5 3/4
degrees west, 7.805 chains, along said west line of said
Militia Donation, to a stone; thence South 84 1/4 degrees
East, 10.25 chains to a stone, and thence N. 5 3/4 degrees
East, 7.805 chains to the place of beginning, excepting 1
acre, taken in the form of a square out of the Northeast
corner thereof. P1,50, a part of Militia Donation No. 33
described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Southwest
corner of said Militia Donation 33 and running thence South
83 1/2 degrees East along the South line thereof, 7 chains
and 40 links; thence North 6 1/2 degrees East, 16 chains and
30 links; thence North 83 1/2 degrees west, 7 chains and 40
links; thence South 6 1/2 degrees west , 16 chains and 30
links to the place of beginning, containing 12.05 acres,
more or less.
A part of Militia Donation No. 33, lying South of
and adjacent to the Eastern Enlargement of the Town of Hazleton,
and bounded as follows, to-wit: Begin at the Southeast corner
of Lot 139 in said Eastern Enlargement, and running thence
North 84 1/4 degrees west, along the southern line of said
enlargement, 10.25 chains to.the west line of said Militia
Donation; thence South 5 3/4 degrees west, 7.805 chains,
along said west line of said Militia Donation to a stone;
thence South 84 1/4 degrees East, 10.25 chains to a stone;
thence North 5 3/4 degrees East, 7.805 chains to the place
of beginning, excepting 1 acre, taken in the form of a square
out of the Northeast corner thereof.
2. That the said Muril F. Ellis died on the 2nd day of
March, 1970, and that title to the hereinabove described real estate
vested in your affiant by operation of law.
3. That this affidavit is made for the purpose of correcting
the records of the Auditors Office of Gibson County, Indiana, to
reflect that affiant is the sole owner thereof.
