AFFIDAVIT FOR TRANSFER OF
REAL ESTATE FOR TAXATION

LORETTA C. ELPERS, being first duly sworn upon oath
deposes and says that she is the surviving widow and tenant
by the entirety of CLARENCE J. ELPERS, who died November 26,
1986, a resident of Vanderbur,:i l,py+nty� Tn��a�y� Z�ff�w:a`
further says that Affiant and Decedent were, at the time of
his death, owners as tenants by the entirety of the following
land in Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
Montgomerv Townshio:
Part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of
the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 3
South, Range 12 West, bounded as follows: Segin-
ning in the north line of said quarter quarter
section at a point 33 rods west of the northeast
corner thereof and running thence south 80 rods to
the south line thereof; thence west to the south-
west corner of said half quarter quarter section;
thence north to the northwest corner of said half
quarter quarter section; thence east to the place
of beginning, containing 3-1/2 acres, more or less;
ALSO, the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 3 South,

EXCEPTING THEREFROM, the following described real
estate situated in Gibson County, State of Indiana,
described as follows: The southwest corner of the
Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 30, Township 3 South, Range 12 West, in
Montgomery Township, Gibson County, Indiana, and
further described as follows: Beginning at a 5/8
inch iron in the south line of the Northeast
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30,
Township 3 South, Range 12 West, which iron is
1,130.71 feet west of the southeast corner of said
quarter quarter section; and from said beginning

measure west, along the south line, 193.60 feet to
the center line of State Road Number 165; thence
measure north, along the center line of said
highway, 225.00 feet; thence measure east parallel
to said south line 35.00 feet to a 5/8 inch iron
set on the east 35-foot right-of-way line of said
State Highway; thence continue east, along said
same course 158.60 feet to a 5/8 inch iron; thence
measure south 225.00 feet to the place of beginning
and containing 1 acre gross;
And containing in all 22-1/2 acres, more or less.
Johnson Township:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 13, *oorr.ship c So•�th, Ra;.ga 1C
West and described as follows: Begin in the south
line of said quarter quarter section 330 feet west
of the southeast corner thereof, and run thence
west 730 feet to an iron; thence north 1,010.7
feet, thence east 1,054 feet to the east line
thereof; thence south 126 feet to the center of
State Road 57; thence south 21 degrees 30 minutes
west along the center of said road 951.2 feet to
the place of beginning and containing 21.16 acres,
more or less; EXCEPT a strip of ground off of the
east side thereof used as a right-of-way for State
Highway No. 57 taken from the left side of the
center line thereof which is 70 feet wide at the
station 86+18 of said State Highway at the inter-
section of the south line of the above described
tract and reducing to 50 feet from said left center
line at station 86+40 of said highway and which is
50 feet wide from said left center line from
station 86+40 to station 96+95; ALSO EXCEPT
therefrom a strip of land 20 feet in width taken
off of the south side of the above described tract
now being used as a right-of-way of the Adam Keil
et al Free Gravel Road leaving a net acreage of

said real estate to be transferred to her own name solely as
