AFFIDAVIT FOR 'IRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE
UPON TAX DUPLICATE
TO J. POOL CLEMENS, Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana.
STATE OF INDIANA
COUNTY OF GIBSON, SS:
FLORA E, GEORGE, being first duly sworn upon oath,
days that William R. George departed this life, intestate, a resident
of Gibson County, in the State of Indiana, on January 11, 1940, and "
left surviving him as his sole and only heirs-at-law his widow, Flora
E. George, who is this affiant, and one son, namely: William C. ,
George.
The decedent was, at the time of his death, the owner
of the following described real estate, situate in PRINCETON, .
INDIANA, to-wit: _ ..
Part of Lot No. 3 in Devin's Second Additiori:to
his Enlargement of the Town, now City, of '_
Princeton.

That upon the death of William R.. George the~title�to "said'
real estate passed to this affiant and her above named son in equal shares;
that Indiana inheritance tax was determined upon said estate, see Estate
Cause No. 1405, Gibson Circuit Court, and through inadvertance and
mistake the above described real estate was not transferred upon the
Transfer Recordsfor tax purposes.
WHEREFORE, this affiant requests that an undivided one-
half part in value of the above described real estate be listed for taxation
in the name of this affiant and the remaining undivided one-half part in
value be placed upon tax records in the name of William C. .George.
