SURVEYOR'S CERTIFICATE

I, RONALD E. MORRISON, Registered Land Surveyor
No. 50314, hereby certify that I did, on the 20th day of
December, 1985, survey the land in Gibson County, Indiana,
described as follows:
A part of the South Half of Section 18, in
Township 2 South, Range 10 West, and bounded as
follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point in the
center of the Princeton and Evansville State Read,
which point may be found as follows: By beginning
at the southeast corner of said Section 18 and running
thence west on the south line thereof 2,937 feet;
thence north 5 degrees and 51 minutes east, 1,115.6
feet, and from the place of beginning, running
thence east 1,608.3 feet; thence north 236 feet;
thence west 20 feet; thence north 74 degrees and
30 minutes west 898 feet; thence north 71 degrees
west 21 feet; thence south 251.5 feet; thence west
630 feet; thence south 5 degrees west 237.2 feet
to the place of beginning, and containing in all 11.27
acres, more or less,
which was transferred by Court Order, upon settlement of the
estate of John C. Gabbert, deceased, to P4atilda B. Gabbert
by decree recorded in Probate Order IIook 75, page 318, office
of the Clerk of the Gibson Circuit Court, and that the cor-
rect description of said property is set forth on an exhibit
attached hereto, incorporated herein by reference and desig-
nated as "EXHIBZT A".
I further certify that said property comprises approxi-
mately 11.04 acres, including that portion in the road known
as Old Highway 41, rather than 11.27 acres, as indicated in
said decree.
I further certify that the .23 acre discrepancy between
the descriptions is attributable to a deed dated June 15, 1901
from Louisa V. Goss, et vir, to William E. Rafferty, recorded
in Deed Record 54, page 433, office of the Recorder of Gibson
County, Indiana, wherein the following .23 acre parcel, to-wit:
A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 18
in Township 2 South, Range 10 West and described as
follows: Beginning at an iron pipe cahich stands
18.50 chains west of the east line of said quarter
section and 20.39 chains north of the south line
thereof and from said pipe running south 3.47 chains
thence west 1.38' chains; thence north 21-3/4 degrees
east to the place of beginning, containing .23 of
an acre, more or less,__ _ _
was conveyed in a triangular shape off the east end of what
was formerly an 11.27 acre tract.
For the foregoing reasons, I further certify that, for
assessment purposes, the acreage of the land now in the name
of 69atilda B. Gabbert, assessed in Patoka Township", Tax Dupli-
cate No. 523, should be reduced from 10.36 acres to 10.13 acres.
