AFFIDAVIT FOR TRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE
CHRISTINE LESLIE GUDGEL, being first duly sworn, upon oath deposes and says:
1. That ROBERT EUGENE GUDGEL, age 59, died on the 11`" day of September, 2009,
at the time of such death was domiciled in Lane County, Oregon, while owning real property in Gibson
County, Indiana.
2. That said decedent did die as the owner of an undivided one-ninth (1/9) interest in
and to the following described real estate situate in Gibson County, Indiana to-wit:
A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8 and a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, both
in Township 3 South, Range 11 West, and both said tracts bounded together as follows: Begin at
the southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 8, and run thence West 32 rods;
thence North 67.75 rods; thence East 192 rods to the East line of the Northwest Quarter of Section
9; thence South 67.75 rods to the Southeast corner of said Section 9; and thence West 160 rods
to the place of beginning and coniaining in all 81.30 acres, more or less.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM: A South part of the South Half of the North�vest Quarter of Section
Nine (9) Township Three (3) South, Range Eleven (11) West and further described as foliows:
Begin at a five-eights (5/8) inch iron in the South line of the South Half of the Norihwest Quarter of
Section Nine (9), Township Three (3) south, Range Eleven (11) West, which iron is located seven
hundred eighty-eight and seventy-two one hundredths (788.72) feet East of the Southwest corner
of said South Half of the Northwest Quarter, and from said beginning on the said South line deflect
left eight-nine (89) degrees and fifty-seven (57) minutes, a distance of sixteen (16) feet to a five-
eights (5/8) inch iron; thence continue along said same course North, five hundred thirty-six and
eighty-three on hundredths (536.83) feet to a five-eights (5/8) inch iron; thence measure East
parallel to the said South line four hundred seventy-four and seventeen one-hundredths (474.17)
feet to a five-eights (5/8) inch iron; thence measure South five hundred thirty six and eight-three
one hundredths (536.83) feet to a five eights (5/8) inch iron; thence continue South along the said
same course sixteen (16) feet to a five eights (5/8) inch iron in the said South line; thence measure
West four hundred seventy-four and seventeen and one-hundredths (474.17) feet to the place of
beginning and containing six and two one-hundredths (6.02) acres. Subject to the North half of
right-of-way for a public road immediately North of the South line of the above described tract.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM: A Southeast part of the Southeast Quarter, Northeast
Quarter of Section 8, Township 3 South, Range 11 West, in Montgomery Township, Gibson
County, Indiana, and further described as follows: Begin at a'/. inch pipe found at the
Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 8 and
measure West along the south line of said quarter quarter section 125.00 feet to a sucker rod
set; thence measure North, parallel to the East line of said quarter quaRer section, 348.48 feet
to a 5/8 inch iron set; thence measure East, parallel to the South line of said quarter quarter
section 125.00 feet to a 5/8 inch iron set in the said East line; thence south 348.48 feet to the
point of beginning, and containing 1.00 acre. Subject to the North half of a county road right-
of-way off the South side thereof.
3. That no administration of the estate of said decedent was required.
4. That the decedent died testate leaving a Last Will and Testament dated March 28,
1989, which Will was admitted to Probate in the Gibson Circuit CouR in Cause No. 26C01-1110-EM-
0086 by Court Order dated November 2, 2011.
5. That pursuant to the decedenYs Last Will and Testatment said real estate was devised
to his surviving spouse, Christine Leslie Gudgel.
6. The gross probate estate of said decedent, less liens and encumbrances, does not
exceed the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), costs and expenses of administration and
reasonable funeral expenses.
7. That the decedent's estate did not require the filing of any Federal or Indiana
inheritance tax return, and no Federal estate tax or Indiana inheritance tax is owing as a result of the
death of the decedent.
S. That this Affidavit is made for purpose of inducing the Auditor of Gibson County,
Indiana to transfer upon its records the ownership of the real estate herein to Christine Leslie Gudgel.
