That he is over the age of twenty-one (21) years, competent to make this Affidavit and has personal knowledge of the contents thereof. 2 Deceased. 3 That this A£fiant was the son of Lillian Ann Hottel, That Lillian Ann Hottel died testate on May 17, 1990, but her Will was not admitted to probate. 4. That by Item III of the Last i4i11 and Testament of Lillian Ann Hottel this A`fiant was devised the real estate owned by the decedent at the time of her death Will and Testament provided as follows: Item IZI of her Last "ITEM III: In the event my said husband, Ralph Leonard Hottel, Sr., should predecease me or in the event he should not survive me by thirty (30) days then I give and devise to my son, Ralph Leonard Hottel, 3r., my real estate on which is located my home in Francisco, Indiana, and a11 improvements located or situated thereor. including the mobile home." That the real estate owned by Lillian Anr. Hottel at the time of her death was located in the Town of Francisco, Gibson County, Indiana, and described as follows: A part of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 20, Town 2 South, Range 9 Vlest c • � bounded as follows: Begin at a point 60 rods east of the south west corner of said quarter-quarter section and run thence west 55 feet; thence north 27.58 rods to the south side of a public highway; thence along the south side of said highway bearing a little south of east to a point 26.5 rods north and 60 rods east of said southwest corner of sa'id quarter quarter section; thence south 26.5 rods to the place of beginning, containing one half acre more or less. ALSO: Beginning at a point 60 rods east of the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter. of Section 20, Township 2 South, Range 9 West, running thence east 16} feet; thence north 26} rods to the public highway; thence west 16} feet; thence south 26} rods to the place of beginning. 5. That Lillian Ann Hottel's husband, Ra1ph L. fiottel, Sr., predeceased her. That only two (2) children were born to Lillian Ann Hottel, nanely: Ralph L. Hottel, Jr., this Affiant, and a daughter, Mildred Elizabeth McEllhiney, who predeceased her Mother. That the sole and only heirs-at-law of Mildred Elizabeth McEllhiney were her children, namely: Diana Patrick, Charles McEllhiney, Dannielle Falkner and Tim bicEllhiney. 6. That the decedent's estate was of insufficient value to be subject to the Federal Estate Tax. 7. That no Zndiana Inheritance Tax Schedule has been £iled but Affiant is in the process of filing a Schedule of All Property and wi11 pay the taxes and penalties due thereon. 8.
