AFFIDAVIT

Amelia Kohlmeier, being first duly sworn, upon her oath says
that she is the surviving wi dow of Eli Chris Kohlmeier, deceased; that
said decedent departed this life on the 6th day of May, 1966, a resident
of Gibson County, State of Indiana, and was the owner with affiant as
tenants by the entirety of certain real estate situate in Gibson County,
State of Indiana, which is listed upon the transfer records of the Town
of nRackey, and Barton Township, Gibson County, State of Indiana, and
described as follows:
✓1. A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 14, in To�vnship 3 south, Range 9
west, bounded as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the
point which is 30 feet south of the point which is 187
feet east of the northwest corner of said quarter. quarter
section and running thence west 46 feet 10 1/2 inches;
thence south 150 feet; thence east 46 feet 10 1/2 inches
and thence north 150 feet to the place of beginning.
Said real estate so bounded and described being within
the plat of the Town of Mackey the lots in which plat have
never been numbered.
Save and excepting therefrom, however, the mineral
rights lying in and under said real estate heretofore
'reserved by Annette Sasse and Theodore Sasse in their
�deed to W. H. Stelloh as set out in Deed Record 53 at
page 270 thereof.
✓ 2. 'Iwvo (2) acres out of the northwest corner of the north-
�vest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 11,
Township 3 south, Range 9 west, bounded as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said quarter quarter
section and running thence east 20 rods; thence south
16 rods; thence west 20 rods; and thence north 16 rods
to the place of beginning.

,� 3. Begin at a point in the east line of the east half
of the southwest quarter of Section eleven (11)
Township three (3) south, Range nine (9) cvest,
and run thence south along the east line thereof,
eighty-eight (88) rods and twelve (12) links to the
southeast corner thereof; thence west along the
south line thereof forty-two (42) rods, to a point
thirty-seven (37) rods, t1�+enty-four and one-half
(24 1/ 2) links east of the southwest corner of said
half quarter section; thence north�parallel to the
west line of said half quarter section, eighty-eight
(88) rods and twenty-one (21) links, thence east
parallel to said south line, forty-two (42) rods to
the place of beginning, containing tiventy-three
and twenty hundredths (23. 20) acres, more or less.
Subject to ail legal highways and right of ways as
now established; all outstanding oil and gas leases
now of record and embracing the above described
real estate; all outstanding coal land options, coal
land leases, and coal land option and purchase
agreements now of record and embracing said above
described real estate.
� 4. The east part of the southwest quarter of the southwest
quarter of Section 11, Township 3 south, Range 9 west,
bounded as follows: to-�vit: Begin at the southeast
corner of said quarter quarter section and run thence
west 28 rods and 8 links; thence north to the north line
• of said quarter quarter section;thence east 28 rods
and 8 links to the northeast corner thereof; thence
south to the place of beginning.
Also, the southwest part of the east half of the southwest
quarter of said section and described as follows, to=wit:
Begin at the southwest corner of said half quarter section
and run thence east 28 rods and 3 1/ 2 links; thence north
88 rods and 12 links; thence west 3 rods and 22 links to
the middle of the E. & I. Railroad tracks; thence south-
west along said track to the north line of the southeast
quarter of the southwest quarter of said section; thence
�vest to the northwest corner of said quarter quarter section;
thence south to the point of beginning,
Also the west part of the northeast quarter of the southwest
quarter of said section and bounded as follows, to-�vit:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said quarter quarter
section and thence east 52 rods and 20 links to the middle
of said railroad track; thence south 25 degrees west along

the middle of said track to the south line of said
quarter-quarter section; thence �vest 17 rods and
21 links to the southwest corner of said quarter
quarter sectinn;thence north to the place of
beginning, containing in all 46 acres, more or less.
✓ 5. A part of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 11, Township 3 south, Range 9
west, bounded as follows: Beginning at the north-
east corner of said quarter quarter section and
running thence south 22 chains and 21 1/2 links
to a stone; thence west 40 chains to a stone in
the quarter section line; thence north 22 chains
and 21 1/ 2 links to a stone; thence east 40 chains
to the place of beginning (the chains, b'eing 2 rods
eacli) containing 22.43 acres.
Also, a part ofthe northwest quarter ofthe southeast
quarter of said Section, Township and Range, afore-
said, bounded as follows: Beginning at the southwest
corner of said quarter quarter section and running
thence east 60 rods; thence north 80 rods; thence
west 40 rods; thence south 16 rods; thence west 20
rods;thence south to the place of beginning 64 rods,
containing 28 acres.
Also, a part of the southeast quarter of the southeast
quarter of said section, to�unship and range, bounded
as follo�vs: Beginning at the northeast corner of said
quarter quarter section and running thence west 80
rods to the northwest corner thereof; thence south
48 rods; thence east 80 rods to the east line thereof;
thence north to the place of beginning, containing 24
acres.
Consisting in all 74, 43 acres, more or less, but
subject to all legal highways.
✓ 6. A part of the east half of the southeast quarter of
Section 15, Township 3 south, Range 9 west, beginning
at the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of
Section 15, thence running south 325 feet, thence
running west 25 feet to the place of beginning; thence
south 150 feet; thence west 75 feet; thence north 150
feet; thence east 75 feet to the point of beginning.
That titie to said real estate passed to this affiant as the surviving
tenant by the entirety, and the Auditor is hereby requested to transfer
