The undersigned, John W. Ballard, of Princeton, Indiana,
being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says:
(1) That he'is the Attorney of Record for John L. Kolb, Adminis-
trator of the Estate of Margaret S. Kolb, who died intestate;,a.
-.r.esident,:of--Gibson •^ounty,� Indiana..on' December 25; L975, and-whose�'
estate is being administered under the jurisdiction of the Gibson
Circuit Court under Probate Docket 76 - 1, •
(2) That at the time of decedent's demise she was the owner of an
undivided two--thirds (2/3) part in value of the following described
lands situate in S4hite River Township, Gibson Cot�nty, State. of
Indiana, towit:
A part of the south half (Sz) of Militia Donation No, Twenty-four •
(24), Township one (1) south, Range Ten (10) west, bounded and
described as follows: Begin at a railroad iron at the Northeast
corner of said South Half of said Militia Donation, and•run thence
� South 5'� degrees West along the East line of said Militia Donation,
1336.2.feet to_an iron at the Southeast corner thereof; thence
North £34 degrees Lvest along the South line of said Militia Donation
1028.2 feet to an iron; thence North 5 degrees 10' East 1331,2 feet
to an iron in the North line of said South Ha1f of said Militia -
Donation No< 24; thence South 84 degrees East along said North line,

10 West, described as follows „ towit: Beginning at an iron pin in
the South line of the North Half (N�Z) of said Fractional Section,

South line 5�4.9 feet; thence North 599.48 feet to the South line

(3) That from the record in connection with the administration
of decedent's estate it appears that decedent's interest in the
above described real estate carried a valuation of Forty-eight
Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-seven Dollars ($48,867,00) and that
her personal estate was in the approximate sum of Seven Thousand
Dollars ($7,000.00); arid that it further appears that said dece-
dent's estate was not liable for a Federal Estate Tax and that
the Indiana I:�heritance Tax liability in the sum of Three Hundred
Seventy-one Dollars and Sixty-three Cents ($371063) has been
finally determined and paid.
That said decedent left as her sole and only heirs at law the
following: Leotis Kolb (Husband); Anna Lou Hofman (Daughter);
H. Louise Houston (Daughter); Joe H. Kolb (SOn); Susan Kolb Mayer
(Daughter); ,7ane Knlb woods (Daughter) and John L. Kolb (SOn),
(4) That this affidavit is made for tne purpose of foundationing
a transfer on the tax duplicates in the Auditor's Office of Gibson
County, Indiana to decedent's said heirs at law to which decedent's
interest in the above described real estate descended in the pro-
portions fixed by statute; and that the primary purpose of this
affidavit is to show the descent of the title to said decedent's above
described real estate, all in order that a proper transfer may be made
to decedent's said heirs at law and for no other purpose;
Further this affiant sayeth not.
