AFFIDAV[T OF DEATH P.iV�D INHERITANCE
James F. Kar�es, being first duly swom upon his oath, deposes and says:
L I am of adult aee and a resident of DuPage County, Illinois, currently residing at 244
S. Oakland Avenue, Vilia Park, Illinois, 601 S l, and I have personal knowledge of Ihe matters
hereinafter set forth.
2. James F. Karges and �\'illiam P. Karges are the owners in fee simple of the following
described real estate in Gibson County, Indiana, to-wit:
A part of the north�vest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South,
Range 10 �Vest, described as follo���s: Beein at the southeast corner of the said quarter
quarter section; thence west 327 feet along the center line of an improved County
High�ray; thence north 17 degrees 1� minutes �vest �33 feet along the center line of an
improved County High�vay to the point of beginning; thence �vesterly 442.34 feet; thence
northerly 1 19.4 feet; thence easterly 406.76 feer, thence south 17 degrees 1� minutes east
along the center line of an improved County Highway 120A feet to the point of
beginnin�, containing 1.16 acres, more or less.
(hereinafter referred to as the "Real Estate").
3. �ly parents are Edwin J. Karges and `9ae E. Karges. Ed�vin J. Karges and Mae E.
Karges were husband and wife at the time they acquired title to the Real Estate as tenants by the
entireties by ��'arranty Deed dated \4arch 19, 1966, and recorded January 3, 1967, in Deed

4. The marital relationship �vhich existed between Edwin J. Karges and Mae E. Karges
continued unbroken from the time they so acquired title to the Real Estate until the death of
Edwin J. Karees on March S, 1988, at which time Mae E. Karges. acquired title to the Real
Estate as the surviving tenant by the entireties.
�. Mae E. Karges died testate on February 2S, 2007, a resident of DuPa�e County;
❑linois. On August 31, 2007, the �4'ill of Mae E. Kazges was admitted to probate in Case No.
2007P0007�4 in the Circuit Court of the 1 S`" Judicial Circuit, DuPage Counry, Illinois. Attached
hereto are certified copies of the Will of Mae E. Karges, the Order Admitting �Vill to Probate and
Appointing Representati��e, Letters of Office - DecedenYs Estate, Affidavit of Heirship, and
Order Declaring Heirship. No application or petition for the appointment of a personal
representative for.the estate of Mae E. Karges is pending in the State of Indiana, and no
proceedings therefor are contemplated by anyone to the knowledge, information or belief of the
undersigned.
6. James F. Karges and William P. Karges are the sole residuary le�atees of the residuary
estate under the terms of the Will of Mae E. Karges.
7. Mae E. Karges was survived by t�vo children, namely James F. Karges and William P.
Karges. Mae E. Karges �vas not survived by any other child or children, or bq the descendants of
any other child or children.
S. At the time of her death, Mae E. Karges owned the Real Estate in fee simple.

9. All of Mae E. Karges' debts, funeral espenses and expenses of last illness have been
full�� paid and satisfied; the entire probate estate was inherited in equal shares by James F. Karges
and �1'illiam P. Karges; and her estate �vas not subject to payment of Federal Estate Taxes or
Indiana Inheritance Taxes.
1 Q. By ��inue of the aboae, the fee simole tide in and to the Real Estate is no�v owned by
James F. Karges and William P. Karges.
1 l. This Affida��it is made for the purpose of authorizing the Auditor of Gibson Counry;
Indiana, to make transfer of the Real Estate to James F. Karges and �4rilliam P. Kar�es.
12. A4ae E. Kar�es and Mae Karges are one and the same person.
13. A Sales Disdosure Form is not required for this AffidaviL This is a transfer for no
consideration.
