AFFIDAVIT
STATE OF INDIANA, COUNPY OF GZBSON, ss:

Comes now the undersigned and first being sworn according to law
deposes and says'that he was-well-acquainted with 47i1Liam J. Iankford�-
� and Grace Pickett Lankford, husband and wife, on June 30, 1961 and
that he knows of his own personal knowledge that the said William J.
Lankford and Grace Pickett Lankford were in fact husband and wife on
said date of June 30, 1961, the date of the deed recorded in Deed
Record 157, page 240, and that they remained husband and wife con-
tinuously until the said William J. Lankford departed this life inte-
state, on October 28, 1967, and that the estate of the said William J.
' Lankford, including proceeds of insurance and interests held jointly
or by entireties was not of sufficient size to incur liability for
Federal Estate Tax.
And further affiant sayeth not.
