age, deposes and says:

during her life of the £olloc•�ing described lands situated in t�ntgomery
Township, Gibson County, Indiana:
Part of the south half of the souttn•rest c�uarter of Section
25, trn•�nship 3 south, range 12 r�est, and described as folloois:
Begin at tne southwest corner of said half quarter section, and
run thence east along the south line thereof, 1168.5 feet;
thence north pa!'allel to the i•�est line thereof, 1093 feet;
thence �aest parallel to the south line thereof, 1168.5 feet
to the west line thereof; thence south along the west line
thereof, 1093 feet to the place of beginning, subject to the
riqht of way of the �hicago and Eastern Illinois Railr.oad,
being a strip of land 56.3 feet in width at the north side
and 52.6 feet in rridth at the south side, and extending.along
the entire west side of tne above described tract, containing
28 acres, more or less, exclusive of the railroad right-of-way.
That the szid Kate Marvel, also kno�•m as Catherine L.biarvel,
departed tnis life, testate, a resident of Vermillion County, Indiana, on
August 14,1933, and the will oi the said Cath�rine L.Marvel ��ras admitted to
probate in the Circuit �ourt of said County on Sepcember 11,1933, and re-
corded in [9i11 �ec. 6, page 280; by which ��rill said decedent devised to her
husband, Lemuel E.t�Iarvel, a life estate'in all her real and personal pro-
perty, v�ith the remainder to her children, I�r�• E.Narvel (this affiant),
James Ed�•�ard A�rvel, Thomas Rzymond Marvel and Lemuel Paul P4arvel;;'share
and share alike, to have and to hold to them and their heirs." That the
said Lemuel r,•tdarvel y�as zppointed ycecutor of the estate of the said
Cztheriae L.*iarvel, tlie inheritance tax c•�as determined, and said estate was
fir.ally settled on September 14,1942.
Tnat the above named Thor.�as Raymond 1�!arvel, brother of this af-
fiant, departed this life, testate,on P•iarch 14,1934, in Vermillion County,
Indiana, and the will o� the said Thomas Raymond rilarvel was admitted to
probate in tne Circuit Court of said County on July 14,1934, and recorded
in Y7i11 Rec. 6, page 325; by which �•rill said decedent devised to his father,
iesnuel E.iiarvel, the use of all the �eal and personal propercy owned by
said decedent, with the re-nainder to nis sister, I�asy Niarvel (this affiant)
and brothcr s, James Ed�aard Marvel and Lemuel Paul P%�arvel, "share and share
alike, to nave and to:holclto them and their heirs." That the said Lemuel
E Marvel t�ras appointed �cecutor��of the estate of the said Thomas Raymond
Marvel, said estate i•�as duly administered, the inheritance tax deterr.tined,
and saici estate finally settled on September 14,1942.
That the said Lemuel E.Marvel, tiie father of this affiant, died,
intestate, in V rmillion County, Indiana, on June 15,1935, and this affiant
was appointed aPdministrator of his estate, ann said estate r�as finally
settled on September 14,1942.
That the said James Edward Aiar.vel, Lemuel Paul Marvel,- and this
-- affiant, biary I�rvel Hill, are the owners of the above described real estate,
by virtue of th� Last wilLsand testaments of the said Kate D3arvel (also known
as Catherine L.rlarvel), znd tne said Thomas Raymond Marvel; and this affidavit
is made for the purpose of having the Au ' or of Gibson County, Indiana, trans-
fer said real estate to said persons f t ation urposes,
