AFFIDAVIT AS TO MARRIAG
Virgil R. Emerson, being first duly sworn, upon his oath,
deposes and says:
That he is more than fifty (SO) years of age, a resident of
- R.R. #1, Cynthiana, Gibson County, State of Indiana, and his
occupation is farmer.
That he is familiar withthe following described real estate
located in Gibson County, State of Indiana, towit:
Part of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of section 12,
Township 3 South, Range 12 West and described as follows; Begin at a
point in the west line of said quarter, quarter section 81.7 feet
south of the northwest corner thereof, and run thence south 276.8
feet to the center of the Owensville and Warehouse Road; thence south
89 degrees 12 minutes east along said road 382.5 feet; thence north 6
degrees west 281 feet to an iron; thence west 357 feet to the place
of beginning and containing two and thirty-five hundredths (2.35)
acres, more or 1ess. Also, part of the northeast quarter of the
northeast quarter of section L1, township 3 south, range 12 west
and described as follows: Begin at a point in the east line of said
•quarter, quarter, section 81.7 feet south of the northeast corner
thereof, and run thence south�276.8 feet to the center.of the
'" OwensviTle and—Warehouse Road; thence north .89 degrees 12 minutes
west along said road 373.5 feet; thence north 271.6 feet to an iron;
thence west 373.5 feet to the place of beginning, and containing two
and thirty-five hundredths (2.35) acres, more or 1ess. Being the
same real estate described in Deed Record No. 129 page 375, Office
of the Recorder of Gibson County, Indiana;
That he knows of his own knowledge that the above described
real estate was formerly owned by Carlos E. Alcorn and Lois Alcorn,
husband and wife, that he further knows of his own knowledge that
the aforesaid Carlos E. Alcorn, died intestate, a resident of
Gibson Countq, Indiana, on December 28, 1950; that he knows that
the aforesaid Lois Alcorn remained the widow of the said Carlos E.
Alcorn, until the 25th day of Apri1, 1953 at which time the said
Lois Alcorn married one Estes Mauck.
.Affiant further says that the said Lois Mauck (formerly
Lois Alcorn) died intestate a resident of Gibson County, Indiana,
on September 28, 1963.
That this affidavit is �nade for the sole purpose of obtaining
a transfer of said lands on the Transfer Book as to Montgomery
Township real estate in the Office of the Auditor of Gibson County,

Indiana, to the hame of Lois Mauck and for no other purpose.
Further this affiant sayeth not.
