COUNTY OF GIBSON, SS:
' ALEX P. R4ILBURN, being first duly sworn upon oath, deposes
and says that under date of April 17, 1947, this affiant acquired from Fannie
Jones, unmarried, as Grantor, the following described real estate, situate
in Gibson County, in the State of Indiana, to-wit:
A part of lots numbered 2 and 3 respectively in Fisher's �
First Enlargement to the Town of Patoka, and all included with-
in the following boundaries, to-wit: Beginning at the southwest
corner of said Lot number 3 and run thence north 20 feet; thence
east 148 1/2 feet to the east line of said Lot number 3; thence
south 84 1/ 2 feet; thence west 148 1/ 2 feet to the west line of
said Lot number 2; thence north 64 1/2 feet to the place of be-
g��g� (
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot number 2 in
Fisher's Enlargement to the Town of Patoka, Indiana, and running
north 84 feet; thence east 148 1/2 feet to the alley running north
and south; thence south 84 feet to the south line of said Lot; thence
west 148 1/2 feet to the place of beginning,
subject to the life estate reserved by the said Fannie Jones, as such Grantor,
see Deed Record 131, page 325; that the said Fannie Jones departed this life
on December 19th., 1956, and this affidavit is executed by the undersigned to
induce the Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana, to transfer the above described
real_ estate to this affiant upon the tax duplicate.
Further, tfie undersigned hereby certifies that he did from and
after April 17, 1947, pay to Fannie Jones the sum of $30. 00 on the first day
of each and every calendar month until her death and paid all of the expenses
