Cornelius S..Morris and Roy G. Morris,�each heing first
duly sworn upon their oath, depose and saq:
That each is more than forty-five C45) years of age; that
the former resides at 106 E. Williams Street, Fort Branch,
Indiana, and his occupation is that of an Emge EmpLoyee and that
the affiant Roy G. Morris resides at R.R. #1, Francisco, Indiana,
and his occupation is that of a Business Man.
That they are familiar with the following described real
estate located in Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
Seventy C70) feet off of the entire west side
of Lot Number 1taelve (12) in the Original Plan
of the Town of Fort Branch, Indiana. Being the
same real estate described in Deed Record No.
130 page 26, Office of the Recorder of Gihson
County, Indiana,
and that they know of their own knowledge that said above des-
cribed real property was formerly owned hy Silas E. Morris and
Augusta Morris, husband and wife, as tenants by the entirety.
Affiants further state that they know of their own know-
ledge that said Silas E. Morris died, intestate, on or about
the 25th day of September, 1953, and that said SiLas E. Morris
and Augusta Morris were husband and wife at the ti�e of the
death of the said Si1as E. Morris.
Affiants further state that they know of their own know-
ledge that the value of the estate of said Silas E. Morris
at the.time of his death, within the meaning of the Federal
Estate Tax laws, was less than Sixty Thousand ($60,000.00)
DolLars, and that the estate of said decedent was not subject
to any Federal Estate Tax.
These affiants further say that the above designated Silas E.
Morris at the date of his demise was the owner of the following
described real estate located in Gihson County, State of Indiana,
to-wit:

The Northeast quarter of the northwest quarter
of section (32) town C3) south, range (9) west,
containing (40) acres, more or less. Being the
same real estate described in Deed Record No.
118 page 551, Office of the Recorder of Gibson
County, Indiana. � �
These affiants further state that the said Silas E. Morris
died intestate, a resident of Gibson County, Indiana, on September
25, 1953 and left surviving as his sole and only heirs-at-law
his widow, Augusta Morris, now deceased, and his two (2) adult
sons, viz: Cornelius S. Morris, 106 E. �Jilliams Street, Fort
Branch, Indiana, and Roy G. Morris, R.R. #1, Francisco, Indiana.
That as of the date of the demise of the said Silas E.
Morris all of his interest in the last above described tract
of real estate descended to his heirs-at-law as hereinabove
named, in the proportion as fixed by statute.
That these affiants further state that this affidavit is
made for the purpose of affecting transfer of real estate on the
respective Transfer Record applicable thereto in the Office of
the Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana, and for no other purpose.
Further these affiants sayeth not.
