That he is the great-grandson of Annette Sasse who was the
owner at the time of her death of the following described ceal
property located in Gibson County, Indiana, to-wit:
Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
oE Section Twenty-seven (27), Township Three (3) South,
Range Nine (9) West, Gibson County, Indiana, more par-
ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said guarter quar-
ter section; thence north along the west line of said
quarte� quarter section a distance of ninety-nine (99)
feet; thence east a distance of six hundred and sixty
(660) feet; thence south a distance of ninety-nine (99)
feet to a point on the south line of said quarter quar-
tez section; thence west along said south line a dis-
tance of six hundred and sixty (660) feet to the place
of beginning, containing 1.5 acres, more or less.
Affiant fucther states that Annette Sasse died on June 30,
1919, leaving a Last Will and Testament which was admitted to
probate in the Gibson Circuit Court, and pursuant to which the
above described real property was dedised to her daughtecs,
Minnie Marchand, Louise Sasse, Frieda Sasse and Selma Sasse.
Affiant further states that Minnie Marchand and her husband,
Victor H. Marchand, died, intestate, in the month of March, 1939,
and were survived by their children, Elsie A. Marchand, Lorraine
P. Marchand, Austin F. hlarchand, Edwin V. Marchand (this affi-
ant's father), and Lillian Marchand French.
Affiant further states that Louise Sasse died prior to
1950 , leaving as her sole and only heirs-at-law, her sisters,
Frieda Sasse and Selma Sasse, and the above named children of
Minnie and Victor H. Marchand.
Affiant further states that Selma Sasse died February 3,
1958, leaving a Last Will and Testament which was probated in the
Vanderburgh Probate Court; that during the course of adminis-
tration of said decedent's estate, the interest of said decedent
in and to the above described real property was conveyed by the
executor of her estate to Dorris E. Cromer and Mary Cromer, hus-
band and wife, by a deed dated January 20, 1959, and recorded in
Deed Record 154, page 52 in the office of the Recorder of Gibson
County, Indiana.
Affiant further states that Austin F. Marchand died, intes-
tate, prior to the death of Selma Sasse and was survived by his
children, Jack Austin Marchand and Gloria Tyler, as his sole and
only heirs-at-law.
Further affiant sayeth not.
