AFFIDAVIT OF DEATH AND HEZRSHIP
The undersigned, Henry A. Phillips (an adult)
of No. 115 Bentley Road, Vincennes, Kriox County, Indiana,
beina first duly sworn on oath says:
1. That he is one of the heirs at law of Margaret
M. Phillips, deceased (Probate Record No. 71 - 7, Office of the
Clerk of the Gibson Circuit Court).
That said decedent.died a re�ident of Gibson County,
indiana, on the llth day of January, 1971 and left surviving
as her sole and only heirs at law her adult sons and daughters,
towit: Harold Phillips (son), Marjorie Francis Muncy (daughter),
Evelyn Marie McNeece (daughter), Virginia Rose Kirsch (daughter),
Y.enry A. Phillips (son), Elmer Lawrence Phillips (son), John
Cla.yton Phillips (son) and Shirley Jean Welch (daughter).
That this affidavit is ancillary to a certain deed
by which all of the heirs at law of said decedent have conveyed
their undivided interest in the following described real estate
situate in Washington Township, Gibson County, Indiana, towit:
A part of Lot #Z, in Fractional Section 22, Township 1 South,
Range 10 P:est, described as follows: Beqin at a point in the West
line of said lot, Town and Range, 165 feet•NOrth of the Southwest
corner thereof; and running thence North along said �4est line,
528 feet to an iron; thence South 83'� degrees East, 332.8 feet
to an iron; thence South 171.76 feet to'an iron; which iron is
483.83 feet North and 330 feet East of said Southwest corner;
thence South 83'� degrees East, 454 feet to the center line of
State Highway #65; thence South 47 degrees and 24 minutes V7est,
along said center line, 378.7 feet; thence South 39 degrees west,
18 feet to a point in the said center line, 165 feet East of the
Southwest corner of said Lot #Z; thence West, parallel to the South
line of said Lot #2,.493 feet to the place of beginning, containing
6 acres, more or less.
Being the �me real estate described in Deed Record No. 108, Paqe
255, and also described and referred to in Deed Record No. 102,
page 460, and Deed Record No. 105 page 41, Office of the Recorder
of Gibson County, Indiana - ALSO - A part of Lot Number two (2),
township one (1) south, ranoe ten (10) west, bounded and described
as follows: Begin at an iron in the west line of said lot 913.4
f� north of the southwest corner thereof, and run thence south
83� degrees east 332.8 feet; thence south 220.4 feet; thence north 83'�
degrees west, 332.8 feet to the west line of said lot to a point
693 feet north of the southwest corner thereof; thence north 220.4
feet to the place of beginning, containinq 1.68 acres, more or
less. Deed Record No. 105 page 41, Office of the Recorder of Gibson
County, Indiana.

For chain of title see Deed Drawer #1, Card #644, Office of the
Recorder of Gibson County, indiana;
to their brother and one of the heirs at law, Henry A. Phillips
and Mary K. Phillips, husband and wife, of Knox County, Indiana.
2. �'hat this affidavit is for the purpose of
obtaining a transfer of said real estate on the Transfer Record,
Office of the Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana, from the name
of Margaret M. Phillips, now deceased, to the name of Henry A.
Phillips, and Mary K. Phillips, husband and wife.
Further this affiant sayeth not.
