Beulah,M. Pocaers being first duly sworn on oath, deposes and
� says: �
' That she is' the widow of Lawrence E. Powers and that this
affiant and:.the said Lawrence E. Powers were the owners in fee
simple, as tenants by the entireties, of the following described
real�estate;.-situated in Gibson County, Indiana, to-wit:
'The west half of the southeast quarter of the southeast
quarter• of Section 30, Township 3 south, Range 12 caest,
containing twenty (20) acrea, more or less.
:ALSO, eleven and five-sixths (11-5/6) acres off the north end
of a.strip of land described as follows, to-wit: Commencing
at a point 40 rods west of the northeast corner of the
northeast quarter of Section 31, Township 3 south, Range 12
west�and running from thence west 40 rods to a public
highway; thence south.47-1/3 rods; thence east 40 rods;
thence}north 47-1/3 rods to the place of beginning.
That the said Lawrence E. Powers died on or about November
24, 1984.
That no administration was had upon the estate of said
decedent, and that the total value of assets owned by the said
decedent, including life insurance was not sufficient in size to
incur Federal Estate Tax liability, and that no Federal Estate Tax
was due or owing upon the assets in the estate of said decedent.
That the said decedent died a resident of Gibson County,
Indiana, and had acquired the above-described real estate, as a
tenant by the entirety, with this affiant pursuant to a Warranty
Deed dated February 2, 1966, recorded February 18, 1966 in Ueed
Record 168, page 345.
That this affiant and the decedent Lawrence E. Powers were
married prior to Febtuary 2, 1966 and continuously remained
married until the date of death of the decedent on November 24,
1984.
