The undersigned, being first duly sworn upon his oath, deposes and says:
'fYiat he was the son of Lawrence E. Powers and Beulah M. Powers, husband and wife,
during their lifetimes.
Thai the said Lawrence E. Powers died testate on November 24th, 1984.

administered in the Gibson Circuit Court under Cause No. 26C01-9701-ES-00010.
That together Lawrer,ce E. Powers and Beulah M. Powers, husband and wife, acquired title
to the following described real estate situated in Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
The West Half (W�h) of the Southeast Quarter (SE'/.) of the Southeast Quarter (SE�k) of Section
Thirty (30), Township (3) South, Range Twelve (12) West, con[aining twenty (20) acres, more
or less.
A�so, eleven and five-sixths (11 5/6) acres off the north end of a strip of land described as
follows, to-wit:
Commencing at a point 40 rods west of the northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE'b) of
Section Thirty-one (31), Township Three (3) South, Range Twelve (12) West and running from
thence west 40 rods to a public highway; thence south 47 1/3 rods; thence east 40 rods; thence
north 47 1/3 rods to the place of beginning.
by virtue of a Warranry Deecl dated February 2nd, 1966 and recorded February 18th, 1966 in Deed
Record 168, page 345, of the records of the Recorder of Gibson Counry, [ndiana.
That said Lawrence E. Fowers and Beulah M. Powers were husband and wife continuously

said Lawrence E. Powers.
That nothing in the Will of Lawrence E. Powers prevents said real estate from passing by
law to the Beulah M. Powers.
That the Estates of Lawrence E. Powers and Beulah M. Powers are insufficient in size to
warrant the filing of a Federal Estate Tax Returns.
That this affidavit is made for the purposes of providing evidence of clear tiNe and inducing
the Auditor of Gibson Counry, Indiana, to transfer the above described parcel of real estate from the
names of Lawrence E. Powers and Beulah M. Powers, husband and wife, to the name of the Beulah
M. Powers Estate on his records for ta�c purposes.
Further affiant says not.
