AFFIDAVIT FOR TRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE UPON
THE TAX DUPLICATE

GEORGE STEWART BAIRD being duly sworn upon oath says that
VIRGINL9 ROBINSON BAIRD died testate on `the 26th day of November, 1957, and
that said decedent was on the day of her death the owner of the foliowing described
real estate in Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
Parcel No. 1.
A part of the West haLf (W-1/2) of the Northeast
Quarter (NE-i/4) of Section 25, Township 3 South,
Range 12 West, bounded as follows: Beginning at the
Southeast corner of said half quarter section, thence
North twelve (12) rods, thence West twelve (12) rods,
thence South twelve (12) rods to the South line of said
quarter section, thence East twelve (12) rods to the
place of beginning, in Montgomery Township, Gibson ✓
County, Indiana.
Parcel No. 2.
Northeast Quarter (NE-1/4) of Section 30, Township 2
South, Range 10 West, except twelve (12) acres out of
the Southeast corner of said Quarter section described
as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said
Northeast Quarter (NE-1/4) and running thence West with
the South line of said Quarter Section forty (40) rods,
thence North forty-eight (48) rods, thence East forty
(40) rods to the East line of said Quarter section, thence
South to the place of beginning; EXCEPT ALSO the fol-
lowing three acre tract: Commencing at a point in the
North line of said Quarter Section 361. 5 feet East of
the East right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 41, as
located November 15, 1945, thence South parallel to said
East right-of-way line 361.5 feet, thence West parallel
to said North line of said Quarter section 361. 5 feet to

ter (NW-1/4) of Section 20, Township 2 South, Range 10
West bounded as follows: Beginning in the West line
of said kalfrt�uarter Section at a point twenty-one (21)
chains, eighty-five (85) links South of the Northwest
corner thereof and running thence East seventeen (17)
chains and sixty-five (65) links, thence South to the South
line of said Quarter section, thence West to the South-

ing, containing thirty-two and three tenths (32. 3) acres,
except the part conveyed to Patoka Township described as

(5) chains, thence East two (2) chains, thence South five
(5) chains, thence West to the place of beginning, in
Patoka Township, Gibson County, Indiana.

bounded as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of

corner of said quarter section, thence East nine (9)
chains and sixty (60) links, thence South to the South
line of said half quarter section thence West to the begin-
ning, containing 37 acres, more or less, Patoka Town-

Township, Gibson County, Indiana, containing 16.53 acres
more or less.
That said real estate passed to this affiant, her surviving widower,
an undivided one-half (1/2) interest therein, and to George Stewart Eai.rd, Jr.,
and Joan R. Baird, children of said decedent, each an undivided one-fourth
(1/4) interest therein by virtue of the Last Will and Testament of said decedent,
which will was duly admitted to probate and recorded in Will Record �
at page /..3 of the record of Wills of said Gibson County; that this affiant
was the husband of said decedent.
