AN ORDINANCE TO.VACATE A.PORTION
OF Eliri STRE�T IN FRANCISCO, INDIANA
BE IT. ORDAIIQED BY THE BOARD. OF TRUSTEES OF THE T047PI OF FRANCISCO,
I\DIANA,
A. A Petition has heretofore been filed by The Francisco State
Ban;c o� r^rancisco, Indiana'seeicing to permanently vacate a portion of
E1m Street in FrancisEO, Indiana described as follocas:
Begin at the northt��est corner of Lot ;�2 in Perkins' Additio�l
to the town o� Francisco, Indiana and run thence westerly 40
feet to the r.ortheast corner of Lot tt3 in said Perkins' Addition;
thence southerly, alonq the east line of said Lot tt3, 150 feet
to the southeast corner the•reof; thence easterly•40 feet to tlie
southwest corner o� said Lot n2; thence northerly, along the
west line of said Lot 3�2,. 150 feet to the place of beginniny,
and containing .1375 acres, more or 1ess.
B. Said portion of Elm Street sought to be vacated is situated
in the Town of Francisco, Indiana, and notice of the filing of said
Petition has been given as provided by law..
C. As no written objectior.s have been filed and no persons
appearing c•:ho objected to the vacation of said street, t11e IIoard of
Trustees now finds that the proposed vacation cvill not adversely
effect the growth and development_of the Town of Francisco, Indiana,
and that the proposed vacation �•�ill not leave any real estate �vithouL
ingress and egress by means of a public street and that the proposed
vacation will not_ cut off access to any public grounds.
D. The fo11o�•:ing described portion of Elm Street in L'rancisco,
Indiana, to-���it:
Begin at the northwest corner of Lot tt2 in Perkins' Addition
to the to�•;n of.Francisco, Indiana and ruri thence westerly 90
feet to the northeast corner of Lot n3 in said Perkins' AddiL-ion;
thence southerly, along the east line of said Lot n3, 150 feet
to che southeast corner thereof; thence easterly 40 feet to tlle
south�•rest corner of said Lot n2; thence northerly, along tlie
west line of said Lot ;;2, 150 feet to the place of beginiiii�y,
and containing .1379 acres, more or less,
be and the same is hereby permanently vacated.
E. The Francisco State Bank of Francisco, Indiana as the ocaner
of the property abutting the east side of such vacated portion of Llm
Street, is decreed.to be the o��mer oL the east half of tlie vacaL-ed
street, specifically described as follocas:

to the town of Prancisco, Indiana and run westerly, along tlie
south line of Lot ;;26 in Fluhart-McCloud Collieries Company
Addition to the town of Francisco, Indiana a distance of 20
feet; thence southerly, para11e1 to the west line of said
Lot ;'r2, a distance of 150 feet to the north line of School
Street; thence easterly 20 feet to the southwest corner of
said Lot n2; thence northerly, along the west line of said
Lot tt2, 150 feet to the place of beginning, and containiny
.06887 acres, more or 1ess.
F. August R. Rock and Janet M. Rock, husband and �•rife, as tlie
owners of the property abutting the �aest side of such vacated portion
of �lm Street, are decreed to be the owners of the west half of.the
vacated street, specifically described as follows:
Begin at the southeast corner of Lot ;�3 in Perkins' Addition to
the to�•;n of Francisco, Indiana and run thence easterly, along
the north line of School-Street, a distance of 20 feet; thence
northerly, parallel to the east line of said Lot ;;3, 150 ieet
to the south line of Lot ��26 in Fluhart-McCloud Collieries
Company .'vddition of the to�an of Francisco, Indiana; thence
c•resterly, along the soutli lines of Lots #�26 and tt25 in Fluhart-
DicCloud Collieries Company P.ddition of the town of Francisco,
Indiana, 20 f.eet to the northeast corner of Lot #3 in said
Perkir.s' Addi:tion; thence southerly, along the east line of
said Lot ;3, 150 feet co the place of beginning and containing
.06E87 acres, more.or 1ess.
G. The Clerk of the To;an of Francisco, Indiana shall certify a
copy of this Ordinance for recording in the Office of the Recorder
of Gibson County, Sndiana.
H. This Ordinance shall be in fu11 force and efiect from a��d
after its passage.
