Surveyor's Report
In accordance with Indiana Survey Standards as defined in the Indiana Administrative Code
(865 IAC 1-12 `tvle 12"), the following observations and opinions are submitted regarding the
various uncertainties in the locations of the lines and comers established on this survey as a
resul[ of:
a.) Availabiliry and condi[ion of reference monurttenu.
b.) Occupation or possession lines.
c J Clarity or ambiguity of the record description used and/or adjoiner's description.
d.) 'Ihe theoretical uncertainty of the measuremenu.
a.) lhere were no reference monuments called for on the previous description; however, the
North property line was established by using a line from a s[one found on the Northeast comer
of the parent vact [o the railroad spike on the Northwest comer of Militia Dona[ion Sixty-tluee
(63). The iron pin called for at the Southeast comer of the Jones' tract, (Dr. 2, Cd. 7362), said
comer being the Southwest comer of Militia Donation Sixty-six (66), was not recovered;
however, the fence comer pos[ in this location was used in the establishmen[ of [he West line
of said donation. This comer post was accepted after the distance along the South line of
Mili[ia Donation Sixty-Ihree (63), was verified.
b.) Farm rype fence meanders as much as 3 feet along portions of both the East and West
property lines o£the paren[ tract. The West property line of the parent tract was arrived upon
by establishing a line from the Southwest comer of Militia Donation Si�cty-six (66) [o its
intersection of the record distance from a stone found at the Northeast comer of the pazent
tract. The South propecty line lbllows the cen[erline of State Road 56. Tl�e Fast property line
parallels the West line of Mililia Donation Sixty-six (66) as stated in the parent tract
descrip[ion.(D.R. I73, P. 179).
c.) The record description states the acreage to be+/- 22 acres. As a result of field
measurement, the pazent vact's acreage was detem�ined [o be 21.42 acres. The Ford tract
contained in D.R 172, P. 284, had a closure error of 57.76 feet.
d.) The Theore[ical Uncertainty (due [o random errors in measurements) of [he comers of the
subjec[ iract established this survey is within the specifications for a Class C Survey (0.5') as
defined in IAC 865.
The within described tracts do not lie in that Special Flood Hazard Area Zone A as scaled on
U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development Flood Ha7ard Boundary Map, Panel No.
180434 0002 A dated April 28, 1978.
