AFFIDAVIT AS TO TENANCY BY ENTIRETY
Laura Scales, being first duly sworn upon her oath, deooses
and says:
That she is 65 years of aje, a resident of R.R. #1, Owensville,
Gibson County, State of Indiana, and her occupation is a housewife.
That she is familiar with the following described real estate
located in Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
Lots 16 and 17 in the Original PLat of the tocun of East Mt. Carmel,
also a part of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of
section 28, townshio 1 south, range 12 caest, hounded as follocas:
beginning on the west line of Wabash Avenue in the town of East
Mt. Carmel at a ooint which is directly west of the west end of the
north line of Lot 15 in the Original Plat of said town of East Mt.
Carmel, and thence running west 208 feet to the center of the body
of water known as the Bayou of Maucks Pond, thence south to the south
line of said quarter section, thence east on the quarter section line
200 feet tothe west line of said :dabash Avenue, thence northerly along
the west line of said [Jabash Avenue to the pLace of heginning, suhject to
state highway #64. Being the same real estate described in Deed Record
No. L41 page 155, Office of the Recorder of Gibson County, Indiana,
and that she knows of her own knocaledge that said above described
real property caas formerly owned by Car1 Scales and Laura Scales,
husband and wife, as tenants by the entirety.
Affiant further states that she knows of her ocun knocaledge that
said Car1 Scales died intestate, on or about the 18th day of December,
1963, and that said Carl Scales and Laura Scales,caere husband and
*aife at the ti:ne of the death of the said Cari Scales.
Affiant further states that she knows of her own knoo�ledge that
the value of the estate of the said Car1 Scales, at the time of his
death, within the meaning of the Federal Estate Tax laws, was less
than Sixty Thousand (560,000.00) Dollars, and that the estate of said
decedent caas not subiect to any Federal Estate Tax.
Affiant further sayeth not.
