AFFIDAVIT FOR 'IRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE
UPON THE TRANSFER RECORDS
COUNTY OF GIBSON, SS:
TO J. POOL CLEMENS,
Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana:
VELA SCHLETER, being duly sworn upon oath, says that Vergil
F. Schleter departed this life a resident of Gibson County, in the State of
Indiana, on October 4th., 19�7, and that as of the date of the death oF said de-
cedent this affiant and the said Vergil F. Schleter, as tenants by the entirety,
were the owners of the following described real estate, situate in Gibson
County, in the State of Indiana, to-wit:
Lot No. 9 in Elizab�th Smith's Addition to the Town
(now City) of Princeton;
The north half of the following described tract of land,
all lying within the corporate limits of the City of Princeton,
Indiana: A part of the southwest quarter of Section 7, Township
2 south, Range 10 west and bounded as follows: Beginning at a
point which is 60 feet east of the southeast corner of Out Lot
Number 1 in Southwark Addition to the town (now City) of Prince-
ton and run thence easti 9 rods; thence north 9 rods; thence west
9 rods and thence south 9 rods to the place of beginning. -
The above described real estate passed to this affiant-as the-
surviving widow of Vergil F. Schleter and the surviving tenant by the entirety,
and as such this affiant respectfully requests that the above described real
estate be entered for taxation upon the Transfer Records of the City of Prince-
--- ton, Indiana, in the name of VELA SCHLETER.
