AFFIDAVIT FOR TRANSFER
OF REAL ESTATE
TO J. POOL CLEMENS, Auditor of Gibson County

HENRY P. SMITH, being first duly sworn upon oath deposes and
says that Robert J. Smith departed this life ��c;� 3/s-r
19 �� , a resident of Vigo County, Indiana, and was at the time of his
- ' death the owner of �the following described real� estate, situate in Gibson
County, Indiana, to-wit:
The North Half of Section 6, Township 2 South, Range 11 West,
containing 320 acres, more or less;
ALSO, the Northwest Quarter of Section 5, Township 2 South,
Range 11 West, containing 160 acres, more or less;
ALSO, a part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 5, Township 2 South, Range 11 West, particularly described
as follows: Beginning at a point 70. 47 rods west of the southeast corner
of said quarter quarter section; run thence west 10, 69 rods to the south-
west corner of said quarter quarter section; thence north 28. 2 rods;
thence east 10, 69 rods; thence'south 28. 2 rods to the place of begicuiing,
cbntaining 2 acres, more or less;
ALSO, the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
32, Township 1 South, Range 11 West, contairv.ng 40 acres, more or

contauung in all 522 acres subject, however, to the right of way of
Southern Railway Company,
That the said Robert J. Smith left surviving him as his sole heirs-at-law,
two sons, this affiant Henry P. Smith and Uriah R. Smith, and that the
above described real estate passed to said sons kiy virtue of their heirship.
That he makes this affidavit for the purpose of causing the above
described real estate to be transferred for taacation to the said Henry P.
Smith and Uriah R, Smith.
