AFFZDAVIT AS TO DEATA AND HEIRSHIP
To: The Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana.
Margaret S. Kolb, a resident of R.R. Patoka, Gibson County,
Indiana, being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says:
1. That she is more than fifty (50) years of age and an
adult and is a daughter and one of the heirs-at-law of Margaret E.
Stewart, who died intestate, a resident of Gibson County, Indiana,
on or abont October 22, 1962.
2: That the aforesaid decedent at the date of her demise
died the owner of the following described real estate located in
White River Township, Gibson County, Indiana, towit:
TRACT 1:

A part of the south half of Militia Donation Number 24, town 1 south,
range 10 west, iiounded and described as follows: Begin at a railroad
iron at the northeast corner of said south half of said Militia
Donation and run thence south 5'� degrees west along the east line of
said Militia Donation 1336.2 feet to an iron at the southeast corner
thereof; thence north 84 degrees west along the south line of said
Militia Donation 1028,2 feet to an iron; thence north 5 degrees ten
minutes east 1331.2 feet to an iron in the north line of said south
half of said Militia Donation 24; thence south 84 degrees east along
said north line 1044 feet to the place of beginning, containing 30
acres, more or less.
TRACT 2:
The northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of fractional section
17, township 1 south, range 10 west, containing 40 acres.
TRACT 3:
A part of fractional north half of fractional section 17, township 1
south, range 10 west, bounded as follows: Beginning at the northeast
corner of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 17
and running thence west 20 chains and 12 links to the northwest corner
of said quarter quarter section; thence north 12 chains and 87'� links
to the south line of Militia Donation 24, the same being the northwest
corner of said fractional half quarter section; thence south 84 degrees
east along the south line of Militia Donation 24 and 25, 20 chains and
18 links; thence south 10 chains and 53 links to the place of�beginning.
TRACT 4:
The north half of fractional section 17, township l south, range 10
west, except that part thereof which lies west of a line drawn due
north from the northeast corner of the west half of the southwest
quarter of said fractional section except 19.93 acres off of the east
side thereof heretofore deeded by said grantor to Jasper N. Davidson
and containing 24.53 acres, eiccepting from the above described real
estate the following described tract, towit: Part of the north half of
fractional section 17, township 1 south, range 10 west, described as
follows, towit: Beginning at an iron pin in the south line of the north

half of said fractional section 1996.5 feet west of the southeast
corner of the north half of said fractional section and running
thence west along said south line 544.9 feet; thence north 599.48
feet to the south line of Militia Donation #40; thence south 84
degrees east along the south line of Militia Donation #40 to an iron
pin; thence south 539.88 feet to the place of beginning, containing
7 acres.
3. That said decedent left as her sole and only heirs-at-law
the following designated children, towit:
a. Ruth S. Kelly (adult-daughter)
b. Margaret S. Kolb (adult-daughter)
c. John H. Stewart (adult-son)
d. Eleanor Stewarf (adult-daughter)
That the estate of Margaret E. Stewart, deceased, is of
record in Estate Dkt. No. PR 62 - 160, and Prbbate Order Book No.
65 Page 33, Office of the Clerk of the Gibson Circuit Court.
That this affidavit is made for the purpose of establishing
date of
the/death and heirship of Margaret E. Stewart, deceased.
Further this affiant sayeth not.
