AFFIDAVIT

John W. Ballard, being first duly sworn on oath says:
That he is.more than sixty (.60)- years of age and has
been for more than thirty (30) years last past engaged in the
practice of law in Princeton, Indiana; that he was born and
raised in the Town of Haubstadt, Johnson Township, Gibson County,
Indiana; that among his several acquaintances in Johnson Township
was one Mary S. Schultheis who at that time was the wife of
Joseph J.
that Joseph J
Schultheis; that he knows of his own knowledge
Schultheis died and left the said Mary S.
Schultheis as his surviving widow together with his several sons
and daughters. This affiant further knows of his own knowledge
that the said Mary S. Schultheis married one Phillip Market and
is now designated as Mary S. Market;
That on September 30, 1971 the said Mary S. Market
(formerly Mary S. Schultheis) convey�d said several parcels of
real estate totalling one hundred forty-five (145) acres, more or
less, in Johnson Township, Gibson County, Indiana to Arthur J.
Fritz and BettyeL, Fritz, Husband and wife.
This affidavit is made for the sole purpose of founda-
tioning a transfer in the office of the Auditor, on the tax
duplicate, from the individual name of Mary S. Market to Arthur J.
Fritz and Bettye L. Fritz, husband and wife,
Further this affiant sayeth not.
