AFFIDAVIT FOR TRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE
UPON THE TAX DUPLICATE
STATE OF INDIANA
COUNTY OF GIBSON, SS:
SYLVESTER BENSON SCOTT and PAUL EWING SCOTT, being
each first duly sworn upon oath, depose and say:
1. William E. Scott, the father of these affiants, de-
parted this life, testate, a resident of Gibson County, Indiana,
on March 9th., 1964, and was at the time of his death, with his
wife, Lillie B. Scott, who is one and the same person.as Lillie
Benson Scott, the owner of the following described real estate,
situate in Gibson County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
A part of the west half of the northeast quarter
of Section 35, Township 2 south, Range 12 west,
bounded as follows: Begin 800.7 feet west and 1806
feet south of the northeast corner of said half quarter
section, and run thence north 1035 feet; thence south,
37 degrees east, 217 feet; thence south 875 feet; thence
west 110.7 feet to the place of beginning, containing
2.57 acres, more or less.
2. The above described real estate appears upon the trans-
fer record in the office of the Auditor of said County and Statein
the names of 4villiam E. Scott and Lillie B. Scott; as set forth
above the said [4illiam E. Scott departed this life on March 9th.,
1964, and the above described real estate caas never transferred to
the name of Lillie B. Scott, who departed this life on May 9th.,
1974, and whose estate is now being,.iadministered in the Gibson
Circuit Court.
3. This affidavit is executed by the undersigned, who
are the sole residuary devisees under the Last will and Testament
of Lillie Benson Scott, for the purpose of transferring said real
estate upon said transfer record from the names of j9illiam E. Scott
and Lillie B. Scott to the name of Lillie B. Scott, the surviving
tenant by the entirety.
