The undersigned, Kendle Smith, now residing at 12403
Poplar Road, Auburn, California (95603), being first duly sworn
on oath deposes and says:
(1) That he is now approximately sixty-four (64) years
of age and that he is the son and sole heir at law of Nellie F.
Smith, deceased, who formerly resided at 514 N. Hart Street,
Princeton, Indiana; that the worldly affairs of Nellie F. Smith
were wound-up and taken care of through a guardianship entitled
"In the Matter of the Guardianship of Nellie F. Smith, of Unsound
Mind" with the report of the death of the said Nellie F. Smith, as
cbard, filed in the Gibson Circuit Court on April 23, 1949 in File
Box 2099 - 191; that the said Nellie F. Smith died the individual
owner of the following described real estate situate in Patoka
Township, Gibson County, State of Indiana, towit:
The east half of southeast quarter of section 8,
township 2 south, range 11 west, containing 80
acres, more or less;
(2) That letters of administration were taken out through
the Gibson Circuit Court of Gibson County, Indiana by "The Farmers
National Bank" of Princeton, in Gibso❑ County, Indiana, and the
record in connection therewith is in "File Box 2600 - 18", Office
of the Clerk of the Gibson Circuit Court, at Princeton, Indiana.
(3) That from the examination of the tax duplicate
(1974 taxes payable in 1975) Duplicate No. 1262, together with
Stormont Blair #17 Ditch Assessment Statement - Duplicate No. 223
for assessments payable in May, 1975 and for the same period of time
Lillard #1 Ditch Assessment Statement - Duplicate No. 270, in each
of the tax and drainage assessment duplicates referred to above the
name appears "Smith, Nellie F., 12403 Poplar Road, Auburn, Calif. 95603";
and it is reflected from an examination of record that the original

eighty (80) acres has been reduced to seventy-eight and eighty
hundredths (78.80) acres by reason of. an acquisition for highway
right of way purposes for the State of Indiana.
This affidavit is made for the sole purpose, and is the
basis of a request by Kendle Smith, sole heir at law of the said
Nellie F. Smith, to obtain a transfer of the real estate as here-
inabove described to the individual name of Kendle Smith, and for
no other reason;
Further this affiant sayeth not.
