AFFIDAVIT FOR TRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE
Hazel Skelton; being first duly sworn, upon oath deposes and says:
t. That Raymond Skelton, an adult, died intestate as resident of Gibson County,
Indiana on November 17, 1996.
2. That said decedent did die as the owner of an undivided one-fourth (1/4) interest
in and to the following described real estate situate in Gibson County: Indiana, to-wit:
Lot Number One (1) in Thomas' Enlargement to the town of Oakland, now Oakland City,
Indiana.
3. The gross probate estate of said decedent, less liens and encumbrances, does
not exceed ihe sum of Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,OOQ.00), costs and expenses of
administration and reasonable funeral expenses.
4. That no Petition for appointment of a Personal Representative oi said decedent
was ever granted by any Court and more than forty-five (45) days have elapsed since the death
of said decedent..
5. The undersigned Hazel Skelton is surviving spouse of the decedent Raymond
Skelton. The decedent Raymond Skelton had no children; the undersigned is entitled to a
survivor's allowance in an amount greater than the value of the one-fourth (1/4) interest in and to
the real estate described herein; and is entitled to ownership of the decedenYs undivided one-
four[h (1/4) interest in and to the real estate described herein.
6. This Affidavit is made for the purpose of the Auditor of Gibson County, Indiana
transferring upon its records the undivided one-fourth (1/4) interest of the decedent Raymond
Skelton to the real estate described herein to the undersigned Hazel Skelton.
