FLORENCE 1HOMPSON, being first duly sr�orn upon her oath d=poses and says:
That she is approximately 67 years of age and a resident of Gibson County,
in the State of Indiana, and that she is by occupation a housekeeper,
That she is familiar with the following described real property locat°d
in Gibson County, in the-State of 3ndiana,. to-roit: - -- - _
The undivided 1/3 interest in and to a part of the northeast
quarter of section 22, tovmship 2 south, range 11 west, described as
follovrs: beginning at a point in the north line of said quarter
section 646 feet east of the northwest corner thereof and running
thence south 1906 feet to the center of a Public Highvray; thence
east 463 feet; thence north 1120 feet to the center of a ditch;
thence in a northeasterly direction up said stteam 260 feet to the
east line of the ivest half of the northeast quarter of said section;
thence continuing up said stream north 44,5 degrees east 1010 feet
to the point of int°rsection of the section line; thence west along
the north line thereof 1473 feet to the place of beginning, and con-
taining 30.32 acres, more or less,
Also, the undivided 1/3 interest in and to a part of the southeast
quarter of section 15, to�m ship 2 south, range 11 west� described as
follows: beginning at a point in the south line thereof 955 feet east
of the soutfivest corner ther°of and running thence north 551 Eeet;
thence east 1362 feet; thence south 48,5 degrees west 249 feet to the
south line thereof; thence west 1164 feet to the place of beginning,
and containing 16,84 acres� more or less.
Being the sa�e real estate described in Deed Record ro. 131, page 423,
Office of the Recorder of Gibson County� Indiana,
That she knocvs of her own knowledge that said above described real propetty
tivas formerly o�med by � i�, 19rorrtpson and Florence Thompson, husband and wife, as
tenants by the entirety, •
Affiant further says that she knows of her oim knoc�ledge that the said
Joe N, lhompson died intestate on or about December 26, 1960 and that said Joe N,
lhompson and Florence Tho�son were husband and wife at the time of the death of
the said Joe N, lhompson,
Affiant further says that she knows of her o�m knowledge that the value
of the Estate of the said Joe N, Thompson at the time of his death, within the r�eaning
of the Federal Estate Tax Laws was not in exc�ss of 11�enty Ihousand ($20,000.00)
Dollars and that the estate of said decedent was not subject to any Federal Estate
Tax.
Affiant further says that all Inheritance Tax on decedent's estate was
determined by the Gibson Circuit Court of Gibson County, Indiana in P R 61 - 35
and said Estate found liable for an Inheritance Tax in the gross of Forty-Three -
� Dollars and Forty-Eight Cents ($43,48), and which said last mentioned sum was duly
paid in the Office of the Treasurer of Gibson County, Indiana, in the month of April�
1961,
That this Affidavit is made for the primary purpose of obtaining a transfer
of the real estate as hereinabove describ=d from the joint names of Joe N. T7tonpson
and Florence Thoc�pson, husband and �vife, to the individual name of Floreace Thompson
(the affiant herein),
