Aff - Turpin, Bartlett J_11/20/1972�, STATE OF I�7DIA�iA COUNTY OF GIBSOAI SS: � � AFFIDAVIT AS TO TENANCY BY ENTIRETY Arthur Turpin, being first duly sworn upon his oath, deposes and says: That he is more than 58 years of age, a resident of Gibson County, Indiana, and his occupation is that of farming. That he is familiar with the following described real estate located in Gibson County, Indiana, towit: A part of the North half of the Northeast quarter of Section 21, Tocvnship 1 south, Range 10 west, bounded as follows: Begin at a point in the north line of said half quarter section, 59 rods and 11 links west of the northeast corner thereof, and run thence west to the northwest corner.thereof; thence south 6'� degrees west, along the west line of said half quarter section, to a ooint 908 feet, north 6'� degrees east, of.the southwest corner thereof; thence"east 799.8 feet; thence south 323 feet; thence east to a point 59 rods and 11 links.west of the east line of said half quarter section; thence north to the point of beginning, contain- ing 24.66 acres, more or less; EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following described tract: Part of the north half of the northeast quarter of section 21, township 1 south, range 10 west, described as follows: Begin at a point which may be found by measuring 980.76 feet west and 1343.76 feet south from the northeast corner of said half quarter section, the same being a stone; thence west 1869.12 feet to the west line of said half quarter section; thence north 6'� degrees east 9E0 feet to a pipe, this being the beginning point, and run thence south 6z degrees west 72 feet to a pipe; thence east 799.8 feet to a pipe; thence north 72 feet to a pipe; thence west to the point of beginning, containing 1.32 acres, more or less; and containing exclusive of said exception, 23.34 acres, more or less. Being the same real estate described in Deed Record 132, page 242, office of the Recorder of Gibson County, Indiana; and that he knows of his own knowledge that said above described real property was formerly owned by Bartlett J. Turpin and Marie Tu�_pin, husband and wife as tenants by the entirety. Affiant further states that he knows of his ocon knowledge that the said Bartlett ,T. Turpin died intestate, on or about April 22, 1968, and that said Bartlett J. Turpin and Marie Turpin were husband and wife, at the.time of the death of the said Bartlett J. Turpin. _ Affiant further states that he.knows of his own knowledge that the value of the estate of said Bartlett J. Turpin_at the time of his death, caithin the meaning of the Federal Estate Tax laws, was less than Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00), and that the estate of said decedent was not subject to any Federal Estate Tax.
